Coated peeled off after 4 uses

I have dozens of pots and pans and never had any issues, but the moment I buy 2 of these, after only 4 uses, the coating started peeling off the bottom. At first I thought it was burnt on food, so I pushed it with my nail only to reveal the silver underneath, so it was really the coating peeling off. The other one is okay (for now). I would recommend finding a pot that doesn't have reviews like this so you don't waste money on something you can only use a handful of times

Perfect size for small meals

I found size to be perfect for college. You can easily use it to make a single meal for yourself like Mac and cheese. In addition, it’s very sturdy and has a nice weight to it. It’s nonstick so it’s very easy to clean. The size of it also allows your meals to be cooked faster

Coating chips and scratches easily

I bought two, one 11 months ago, one 2 months ago. Both have had the coating start chipping and scratching. I cannot find information about what the coating is made out of so it may be toxic.

Non-stick peels away after 2-3 months

The non-stick layer on the inside of the pot at the bottom will peel away and lose its non-stick quality. I only boiled and cooked rice in the pot and the non-stick layer was already wearing away after 2-3 months. I had to switch to another brand. I don’t recommend this product because it will not last long.

Not even 1 year of use...

This was great until it wasn’t. I recently noticed that the Teflon coating inside the pan wan was peeling off and mixing in the food which I had to throw away. Would not recommend. I’ve had it for less than 1 year. Surprised that Target would sell something that is not good quality.

Info here

This is not a waste of money. Just return it. All I can say is use silicone cooking utensils so this doesn’t chip. Maybe? Can’t be quite too sure it won’t eventually chip. I returned it because my boyfriend used a fork to cook a spicy soup and it scratched. Please don’t use this when scratched. Not only is that always bad with certain cookware, particularly this one but it will get into your food. Having water boiling when scratched will show you what it starts to release into the water. Yuck. If you want something within this price range buy the cuisineart pot it’s $16 and it can be scratched and won’t affect the food. It will stain if you don’t dry after washing and even cooking. Use vinegar and perhaps baking soda I forgot but the instructions are on the label so don’t worry. It also says to use oven cleaner for super tough stains. It says the lid can sometimes seal but it hasn’t happened to me yet. Steps for that are also on the label but unclear. Maybe you’re smarter and you’ll understand. It’s beautiful and it feels nice to hold but it can be a little heavy. I have the $30 one so I’m not sure how heavy the small one is but just return it if it bothers you. Target is good with returns try online or in store.
