These bulbs actually dimmed!

Brighter for very high ceilings.

Used to replace outdoor softwhite spotlight that someone had installed in the kitchen with a cathedral ceiling. Removed the heavy glass lamps that quit working because of vibration. Daylight indoor lamps make the kitchen much brighter.

These are truly GREAT lights!!! Got them to replace some 3000K bulbs that a few years ago I thought put out awesome light. These are bright, like natural sunlight, and light weight too. And as LED's they only use 15.5 watts of electricity. And they hold up to harsh winter conditions in outdoor fixtures. I'll be replacing my other outdoor lights with these also. Get some, you will be glad you did, (This was my honest and NOT compensated review!)

We used these LED bulbs to replace two older bulbs in our outside motion detector light. The new bulbs are much brighter and I like the shade of the light better than the old. Long life too. Highly recommend to other prospective buyers.

only had it a few days, so no info on longevity. it does 'dim', but at least in the outside fixture I've got when it's dim, it's not too much different from when it's full power. could be the way the fixture is managing it. does give off a lot of light. if your fixture is 6 - 10 feet up (and not 20 or 25 feet up) you could be OK with lesser wattage.

I have been replacing the old style incondescent lights with the newer LED bulbs throughout my home inside and out. There are two terms used to describe light bulbs you should know, Kelvin tells you the color of light and Lumens tells you the intensity or how bright the light. I have been installing daylight bright or bulbs with a high K for outdoor use. See photo for side by side comparison. FEIT enhance bulbs gives you the 5000K with 1400 Lumens a good choice for outdoor lighting.

These PAR floodlights put out a very even beam with good light and color uniformity. And they appear more energy efficient, rated as 11.1 watts vs. 14 w. for the Ecosmart bulb we were replacing.
