The change from Hard water to soft water is very noticeable! Our dishwasher, Dishes, Shower Glass, etc. We had a white limescale scale on everything. It is gone!!! When you shower there is like a silky feeling with this soften water! Easy do it yourself install. The Aquasure softener has exceeded our expectations!
Catastrophic product failure...
After reviewing the operating parameters of this unit it was determined to be suitable for my application. Everything went well until reaching the step to purge/backwash the tank. Upon reaching line 3 of step 2 of the initial set up procedure the valve head proceeded to explode flooding my basement. Mind you this is running off a 40-60 PSI pressure switch with this unit having a max design pressure of 125 PSI. DEMANDING a refund, replacement with another subpar product is unacceptable...
Steer clear, first one the resin basket was cracked and sent them all through the plumbing. Then UV light stopped working, it’s been one thing after another with this unit.
Poor Quality
Within a week water pressure dropped completely and customer service is not greet. I do not recommend purchasing this product.
Not bad install, could've included a more consolidated set of instructions but it's all hooked up and working. Had it running for about a week and no complaints. Needed a few extra trips to the hardware store for all the connections, make sure you get plenty of Teflon tape. Screen is simple and easy to read but the initializing process before first use is a little tricky. Everything seems like good quality and they put some thought into the design. Would buy again
The unit I purchased is working really well and makes a night and day difference. Installed it myself with the guidance of a helpful youtube video how-to. It been a couple weeks now and it is nice to not see hard water spots any longer and skin and hair feel great!
