I installed the filter, but the temperature hasn’t been cool enough for me to turn the furnace on. Not fair for me to review something I have not huge.

Not a good fit for a Goodman A/C unit

I.Morales: This was an emergency buy. The evaporator drip pan drain tube got clogged causing condensate water to spill inside the A/C unit. The filter was wet. My unit needed a 16x25x5 filter. My A/C-Heater unit is a Goodman product. Unfortunately, off the shelf filters don't usually fit a Goodman unit. The off the shelf filters are generally too wide by about a 1/4 inch. I had to pound the side of the filter to crush the cardboard frame to make it slide into the slot. I usually buy the filter elsewhere, but this was an emergency (no A/C on a week of hot days). Another store sells two types of 16x25x5 filters. In their descriptions, one filter is listed as the right size for a Goodman unit. It even lists the dimensions as a 1/4 inch narrower than the other filter. Sorry Lowe's, I won't be buying this product any longer from your store.

the item came broken, and i ordered the version NOT slim, and appearently they didnt care about it and send me the SLIM version....

Difficult uninstall

I went to check the filter for replacement and there were no tabs to easily grab it. The thin carbboard also got stuck when trying to get it out, totally destroying the filter.

SECOND TIME sent wrong item

chk tiny print on front states slim line. It shows regular size on side of filter, but it is an inch thinner. I had to buy a 1" filter to put beside it.
