Synthetic 2 MERV Flat Panel Filter 2 pk

I like the free flow and quality of these filters, ut the direction of air flow arrow seems to be in the wrong direction. -- as compared to other similarly constructed filters.

Clean indoor air

I used a cheaper version once. I woke up sneezing and nose running. I changed back to this brand and Merv number. The allergy symptoms went away.

HOUSE FILTER

USE THIS FILTER FOR MY HOME USE. DOES A VERY GOOD JOB. WE HAVE 1200 SQ, FT. NO BASEMENT. 2 BEDROOM CONDO.

Going back to generic filters.

Bought a three pack at Costco, used two and threw out the third. They are slightly too big to fit in the ceiling air returns without forcing them. This is a major concern since I have ten foot ceilings and have to do so while standing on a ladder.

There are clouds of smoke outside from wildfires but inside the air is so clean from this filter. I will never take clean air for granted again. We have used this filter in an older HVAC in an older house and it has caused no strain on the system. We originally bought it to mitigate against the flu (which the filter did very well) but are really appreciating its ability to trap fine smoke particles now. Recommended

Filtrete 1500

I've used these for many years, and while I do see that the filter has captured quite a lot by 3 months, I still smell the downstairs tenant's smoke. Also, and *much* more importantly, I am truly weary of the poor fit of these filters. I have to bend and crush the 14" width to get it in. The 25" length seems too long, and the 24" too short by *more* than an inch! I'm concerned that the gap with the 24" will allow unfiltered air in to ruin the unit. Should I worry about one inch? In any event, these filters should not require twisting and bending to install.

Life saver for Allergy sufferers!

If I could rate this filter 100 stars I would! It has literally changed my life. I started having very severe allergic reactions and suffered quite awhile before realizing it was my in-home air quality. It was to the point of pulling up carpet or purchasing a new home. Med testing confirmed a dust & pollen allergy. I researched & came across Filtrete '2400', purchased 2 immediately along with their linen air fresheners and within minutes of switching my filters to these I was breathing better & my home smells wonderful.
