So far, so good. The chair seems sturdy and is comfortable. Only time will tell how long it will hold up. Price was too high, but I needed a chair that could support my weight.

Disappointed in height

Was NOT as specified. The Specs said the minimum height floor to seat was 40". The maximum was about 21. It said it did not recline, it did. I sit at a teller type desk and my shoulders was barely above it. Chair was awesome if I was going to use it at a normal desk.

Horrible Chair

I just received this chair, it was simple to put together is about the only good thing I have to say about it. The seat and back rest are hard. The chair on it's shortest setting is too tall for me. The back rest leans back, but doesn't come forward at all so when sitting on it I have no back support. There isn't a seat adjustment to change the tilt of the seat so I am always leaning forward. Extremally disappointed with this purchase.

AWESOME SUPPORT!

We just bought this chair for an employee who is tall and needed more support in their seat. We got it earlier than expected, and it was easy to put together. Now the employee has the back support they need and are more comfortable sitting for long periods of time.

Good chair, but watch for sharp edges

Arrived today. here are a few thoughts:

At 6’4”” and over 200 lbs I had been looking for a good sized chair for my home office/guitar room.

Super disappointed and inconvenienced!

I ordered this same chair a few years ago. I'm just now getting around to replacing it after the first one broke a couple years ago. The chair itself is comfortable. But this one arrived with one of the handles broken off. Of course I didn't notice it until the chair was almost completely put together. Taking it back apart was pretty difficult. Now I have this giant box that I have to either return to the store or find a location to drop it off to ship back. It's very big and heavy. Major pain in the bottom. I will not be ordering again.

Great work chair

This is a very comfortable chair. With the several positions it has available, most people would find it works for them. The only thing I'd change is to have the back fan closer to the seat, but I use a back cushion that fills that void.

Not sitting well

The chair is very well built. The instructions that came with it stated it was a 400 pound capacity. I called manufacture and they said the instructions to assemble was the same so they put it in by mistake. The chair has a deep seat so I'm 6'1" and can not sit back comfortable. The back does adjust but angle is off for comfort. The chair does not tilt so if you lean back it will not.

Nice Chair for big people

The chair is easy to assemble and came with the allen wrench you need. It is sturdy in construction and has no problem with 350 lbs. It has a wide seat and back. The mesh back is cooler than a solid back and has adjustable lumbar support.

Sturdy chair, but seat is WAY, TOO "long".

The seat portion of this office chair is MUCH TOO DEEP, and I'm 6'. The seat is SO deep (i.e., too long) that my back NEVER TOUCHES the backrest. I feel like Lily Tomlin's "Edith Ann" character in her oversized chair. If the manufacturer had made it so the backrest could be tilted forwards about 4", it would have been a winner with 5 stars. Another aspect of the seat cushion being much too long and too wide - is that the chair is much bigger physically than you would ever expect. There are two areas in my office where I was surprised to see the chair would not even fit. I had to move furniture to widen walkways and to get the chair in front of my desk.

Just what I needed

Needed a heavy duty chair. I reviewed a lot of chairs and many different price ranges and finally settled on this one. Ordered it and Staples delivered for FREE. It was easy to put together. The chair is an excellent replacement for another heavy duty chair that has seen better days. This chair is used every day for eight hours a day and appears to be made to with stand a lot of use.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

I have been looking for a big and tall chair for quite some time. I was so excited to find this chair, but very disappointed when I got it.

Dream Chair

I have worked in offices for over 25 years and have always struggled to find a comfortable chair. I'm 6' tall with long legs. Chairs were always too small-mostly the chair wasn't deep enough and didn't come up high enough. As I've aged I've put on weight. So now I need a wider chair too. This one hits all of my requirements! I can sit comfortably in this chair all day!!

Beetter then expected

I have only had this about a month now but so far, outstanding. It is holding up very well and i am no lightweight (6'5, 420) My biggest problem with so called big and tall chairs has been the hydraulic cylinder giving up but so far this one is working fine.

Emphasis on the BIG in Big and Tall

I just got this chair because I need something that's going to hold up, a task chair that I can sit in for upwards of 8 hours a day while working from home. It's the fourth chair I've purchased in the last year, and not the most expensive. Actually, the price on this chair was pretty decent compared to other chairs that are weight rated to hold up to 500 lbs. My chief complaint about this chair is that the seat depth is HUGE (in fact the whole chair is huge, it's like sitting in an office chair version of a recliner). I read this same complaint in other reviews, but thought, "I'm 5'8". Surely this won't be a problem for me." Well, it actually is a bit of a problem. Nothing that isn't easily fixed with a lumbar pillow. But you should know that this chair is enormous, especially for a task chair without arms. Overall, I'm hoping this chair will last. It seems very sturdy; it's comfortable despite the seat depth issue, and rolls around easily on carpet. But if you're shorter, you'll definitely want to look into a different model of chair.

Hercules Series 400lbs office chair

The chair is great in that its size and height is sufficient for my size(6'3",250lbs). The fabric is a great breathing material and allows clothes to move comfortably while sitting in it.

Great Chair

This purchase was made to replace an office chair that was lost in Hurricane Sandy. That chair cost over $400.00 and was given to me by a friend who was moving and did not want to take it with her. It was also a big and tall chair. This chair is just as comfortable and I spend many hours at my computer. Be forewarned, it is a very big chair and is really meant for those who are quite tall. which I am not, at only 5 feet. The reason that I bought the chair is the generously padded seat that never leaves me with any discomfort even after many hours working at my computer. Cheaply made chairs may looked good but they lack the padding that I wanted. I could not find a chair that was not Big and Tall that offered the same degree of quality as this Hercules model. Expensive, yes, but in the long run well worth the investment.

High quality

I just got it today. I paid my maintenance man to assemble it. He was able to do it quickly. He said that it didn't have any screws and needed no tools to put together. On the instruction sheet, there is like one screw, but it is fastened to the back and needs to be removed and then put back in. One reviewer said that it took them two minutes to put theirs together. They were right. It may have taken him the better part of 5 minutes. When I sat in it, it was very comfortable. The seat is well padded. It looks so high quality that you would think that it costs much more than it did. I haven't had it long enough to say much else except that it looks terrific!
