The gasket between the flapper seat and the tank leaks and causes the water in the tank to drip into the bowl area which makes the filler valve open to refill the tank every 5 minutes. Terrible gasket design that wastes water! Picture below is the gasket I’m referring to. Tried reinstalling it, tightening more, no help.

Easy to install, I did it myself.
Works, but because of the water saving issue it barely puts enough water into the tank for a complete flush. If you don't hold down the flush lever it will do a half flush making it necessary to wait for the tank to half fill again for another flush.
We use it DIY solved our toilet problem, and thank you for Home Depot shipping to our door.
