While I like and enjoy my new awning, I found the installation instructions wanting. I know your product support personnel are great and I would like to suggest that you ask them to supply some illustrations that you could include in your instructions. I speak from the point of view of a former instructional designer (now retired) with a Fortune 500 company.

Follow instructions to avoid any rework.

The product looks like the picture. All assembled, brackets installed and ready to be placed were it belongs. Final touches to limit switch and checking the operation of the motor, lights and remote. Manual functions work. Watched video's on installation but all were for for none cassette type (they will help). The instructions are accurate and if followed you should be fine. The enclosed assembly instructions are small to read. Find them online and use your pc to see better. Important: motor can only be mounted on the left side, use your discretion if you want to use supplied hardware (I bought lead anchors into brick). Allow 4 to 6 hours for complete project. Product is heavy so you will need 2 people most of the time. Assemble carefully, I didn't need mallet. All interconnecting parts slid into place easily. Motor side will be tight as you assemble in order to route all electrical cables. Be careful not to get them next to moving parts. I will be ordering solar wind/sun sensors.
