Received this afternoon, and pleasantly surprised to say it's assembled (one person), placed, and nearly filled with wife's shoes. She's very pleased (as am I), with the appearance and sturdiness. One note on assembly: I took the top back off, then carefully stood the frame, flipping it around. The shelving was then flipped over as well with the open-end of frame lowered over shelves, slid into place and top reattached. You'll hopefully understand better when you see it. Give yourself 45 minutes.

It’s perfect! No more plastic bins for my shoes. Well, not as many as before. This storage fit perfectly in our room and decluttered the space where I initially had plastic bins for my shoes. Iam even able to double up some of my sandals and fit a few flip flops in a cubby.

LOVE IT! Super easy to put together and relatively sturdy. Going to buy two more, husband and I are going to DIY our shoe closet area.

I was drawn to this unit because of the neat organization potential. However, the unit fails in several ways.

Very nice unit. Some imperfections in the paint of the edging of the partitions, but it's still a well designed and built unit. Came with great instructions, which is something I've come to expect from KD furniture made in Canada.

In my opinion, the building of this unit is a two-person job but when it was completed, we were able to cross an annoying problem off our list. There were imperfections along the way such as a scratch on one of the side boards that cannot be seen. In addition, there was also a fair amount of the coloring they apply, dried to the surface of several pieces. It was easily removed as it has an elastic quality to the colorant. The instructions do not go into detail, just lots of drawings for each phase until completion. The drawings were quite clear as to what should happen next. After completion, we stood it up, slid the unit into place and started filling it. Our floor is now clear of and were very happy about that. We purchased the unit in Drifted Grey and it blends well with the closet. What I like about this unit is the weight and the slender profile. Its the first unit Ive seen that utilizes the vertical wall space instead of being too wide. Overall, this was a great buy and Im glad I found it.
