Must have!

The little noise machine that could! We love this thing. The light is soft (and adjustable) for middle of the night changes or for just peeking at baby. Different sound options that are clear and volume actually goes quite loud if you need it to. Portable, battery holds a good charge, and the strap is handy to attach to the stroller. I'll be gifting one of these to new moms!

Not good for night

Whilst it can work for short trips out and about, we've found this to be totally useless for a night time white noise machine. It needs to work well over a number of hours but when it's charging the whole thing flashes! So it's impossible to hide and a baby can't sleep with a strobe light in the room! You also have no idea how long is left on the battery so we have also tried to use it and then found the battery drains mid nap.

The gift we give all new parents

We love our Frida portable sound machine so much, we’ve gifted it to two of our friends. We’re about to purchase another for a friend. It is so handy. The strap can easily loop to a car seat or pack and play. The nightlight and sound last through an entire night.

Good

I was skeptical at buying as reviews said it wasnt loud, but i took a chance and bought it. In my opinion, the sound machine is loud, i tried to turn it to the lowest volum and i thought it was still loud. Didnt work for my little one to help sooth them on any setting, but i will keep in the car just for the light to use on car rides when its dark out. the 3 levels of lights are also very good settings on brightness, just on the very low setting of light was enough to light up my room but without the harsh brightness. I did not need to use the highest brightness. overall a 7/10 just because it didnt help my little one to be soothed, but it definitely works as advertised and Volumes/brightness of machine are great!

Life saver for travel

We have 2 of these and love them. I make sure one is in the diaper bag and the other around the house. When my daughter was born it was nice to have one in the living room and one in our room. My daughter is now 11 months old and it's perfect for when we travel. I can get at least 2 nights (12 hours) on one charge. The night light is awesome as well. Only update I'd give Frida is to make the buttons more noticeable in the dark by either filling them in or making them 3D, they are a little hard to find. I had my baby before Hatch made their small travel one so I can not compare the two!

Good

What I was looking for. It has multiple sounds to choose from. Battery lasts a good while. In the beginning I used the sound and light together and it lasted over 12 hours.

Amazing Product, Amazing Company

Frida Baby has many amazing products but we use this sound machine the most! It is so nice and small so can take anywhere. I also think Frida may have the best customer service I have ever dealt with it. I had an issue and they responded so fast, almost within minutes and with a solution that was in my best interest. Hard to find companies like that nowadays. Will keep buying their products because not only are they great products but they stand behind them.

Very convenient little sound machine!

I’ve been using this sound machine since the day my baby was born! A little over 3 months now. We used the heartbeat sound in the hospital since I thought it might be soothing for her when she was only a few hours into the world. We’ve used it every night since. The hush sound will usually get her to sleep & then I switch it to the wave sound which I believe helps her stay asleep. The battery lasts all day when I accidentally leave it on! I like that it blinks when it’s close to dying because I can just plug it in & continue to use it. I like that it has a little night light so I can leave it on & check on my baby in the middle of the night. I’ll either set it in her bassinet near her feet or if it’s charging I’ll hang it around something near the bassinet, using the little strap. I see some complaints about the buttons, but honestly once you take a look at them & know which buttons do what, you can tell which button you’re touching. I can adjust each setting without looking at it.

Portable sound machine is too light for our use.

We currently have the Hatch Rest sound machine in her room and a Hatch Mini we take with us when we travel. I accidentally forgot the Hatch Mini on a trip we took this weekend and decided to temporarily buy this Frida Baby 2in1 as we have been very pleased with other Frida products. This machine was very underwhelming to us and it was nowhere near loud enough for our baby to sleep throughout the night. The nightlight would be great for a baby that likes light, so that wasn’t an issue. It would be a good machine for the uses it shows such as the stroller, car seat but not for a crib. I would take Hatch over Frida in this category any day.

Does what it advertises!

We’ve been using it for 9 months almost to the day. It has worked wonders for us. We use it probably a total of 5 nights each month. We use it only when traveling. I think the main issues people have are due to them using this as a full time sound machine when it is very clearly a portable one probably meant for traveling. If you want one that doesn’t blink when it’s low battery then get an actual sound machine. I’d recommend the Hatch one. as far as a portable sound machine, it’s great!! It’s loud enough, has plenty of battery to last a whole 10 hours and we have no issues. The buttons are frustrating when it’s pitch black out but honestly it isn’t the worst. Overall, I’d recommend and would buy again!

[Rewarded Review] Great portable sound machine!

I really like this sound machine. I got it right before a camping trip and came in handy to drown out the noises from nearby partiers. I like the selection of sounds. The nature sounds and water sounds are my favorite. Since returning from camping I use this around the house wherever my baby happens to fall asleep. The nightlight gives some slight illumination. Helps me see what’s on my nightstand. And helps provide my toddler with some comforting light. I like the option for having the machine on a strap. Can dangle it from the car seat if going for a stroll. Only con is the buttons are impossible to see in the dark, even when the light is on the brightest setting. Perhaps next design they can illuminate where the buttons are. Other than that, nice sound machine that produces a good range of volume and sounds.

[Rewarded Review] Less Screaming!!!!!

This is a miracle device for me. My 8 month old grandson lives with us and I babysit him while his mother is at work. I have a playpen in the living room and that's where he naps. When someone talks too loud, he wakes up and wants to be a nosey rosy and has to know what's going on and he's so miserable when someone wakes him up and all he wants to do is cry. I was trying everything to keep the room quiet while he's sleeping but the other kids and up getting loud and wake him up. The first day I got this sound machine, I set it up at the outside bottom corner of the playpen and thankfully, it has the birds chirping sound like his rocker had when he was sleeping in that. It's been working great. It's loud enough to muffle the other kids and he has been sleeping for 2 hours at a time. The quality of this sound machine is great. It's well made, has a very loud speaker that is adjustable, and has 5 different sounds. The following are the sounds that are on the device: Heartbeat, Rain, Waves, Chirping birds and someone saying Shhhh. The only sound I don't like is the shhh. It's very annoying. Other than that, the other sounds are calming and relaxing. It has a soft strap that you can connect to hang it on a crib or playpen and when it's not hanging, the strap wraps around the box and looks like a border. I have included a photo of the strap. The night light has 3 different brightness options. I keep it on the low light setting. It's enough to light up the area around the playpen and not bother the baby. It comes with a USB charger and it's very simple to use. I couldn't be happier with a sound machine and I would most definitely recommend it to anyone that has little one's that are easily disturbed by any noise while they are sleeping.
