It is a little confusing to figure out how everything works, coming from having a regular electric stove. It's also very easy to accidentally turn it on because of the way the controls are. It will take some trial and error to figure out how everything works. But I like all the features!

Absolute garbage

I have been running into so many issues since I received this induction range. Only a few weeks after starting using it The induction top Did not recognize my cookware. I called Frigidaire and had a technician come to fix the problem. Technician could not find a solution, but luckily The induction top started working again all of a sudden. Fast forward to today and I run into the same issue between the first and the second occurrence the induction top has been very buggy and the touchscreen dysfunctional.

[Rewarded Review] flexible cooking

The burners on the stovetop are quick in cooking without over-heating. However, they are also small, making it difficult to use a large pot. The oven is larger than most I've seen and well lit. It is good with convection baking, but won't hold a consistent temperature in "bake" mode, more or less eliminating that option. The top is very smooth and easy to clean. The smoothness makes it difficult to position a pot exactly over a burner when stirring. If it's not exactly over the burner, it won't cook properly. Also, it's difficult to use the cooktop as an extension of the counter in a small kitchen because it chirps constantly if anything other than an induction-capable pot/pan is placed on it.

[Rewarded Review] Beautiful and functional

Our new tabs is not only beautiful but works great too. The induction cooktop heats food quickly. The convection over bakes and roasts superbly. Although it does take some learning to operate, once you figure it out, it is fairly easy to use.

stovetop cooks well

Although the design is somewhat industrial looking, the function of the stovetop is good and it's easy to use. The surface is very smooth and easy to clean, although pots slide around on it and if you're stirring, you must hold the handle to ensure it's exactly over the burner as required to cook. The burners are fairly small and it's difficult to use a large pot or skillet on even the largest burner. The oven is quite large, with good lighting. However, it won't keep a steady temperature. Sometimes, according to thermometers inside the oven, the actual temperature is anywhere from 10 to 20 degrees lower or higher than the set temperature, making it extremely difficult to bake anything.

Worst Purchase Ever Made

The Oven works wonderfully. The stove top, however, is the most bone-headed design. Even when you get it to work, it quickly becomes infuriating. If anything splatter out of a pan, you are made to panic and wipe it away as fast as you can, only to fail and have the stove top turn off anyway. Then, good luck getting it come come back on again. The amount of money on meat that has been wasted due to this stove top being a nightmare is not insignificant. In our pleas to Frigidaire to fix this situation, all they do is send out more technicians who order more parts only to reassemble a poorly designed product. Frigidaire needs to recall this product and issue a full refund to everyone. I have no interest in purchasing anything from Frigidaire again. What a disaster.

Never Again Lowes -- Never Again Frigidaire

I've bought a few things from Lowes in the past but this is definitely the last thing. Item arrived with the touch panel not working properly. I called Frigidaire right away, and they said the soonest they could get a technician out was four days later. So I wait for that, and he shows up and confirms it's broken, and says the part is a new one and currently unavailable. So I call to return the item to Lowes less than a week after purchase, and they say I cannot return it because it's past the 48-hour window, which is definitely not made clear on the product page, where it boasts "Free Returns in Store or by Mail".

Wish I'd bought something better

I've had this stove for less than six months. The oven is good. The cooktop is nothing but trouble. The cooktop controls are annoyingly unpredictable. . . burners ROUTINELY turn themselves off when I'm in the middle of cooking something. Get a pan out of place and the burners all turn off. Get moisture or grease on the control surface and the burners all turn off. If a pan is not in the APPROVED position, a burner will not detect it or if it gets out of the APPROVED position, the burners may turn off.

Fried stove

Bought Dec 2023, last Friday evening the stove fried itself. Buzzzzz, lights dim, magic smoke rolls out. Shut off breaker, vented house. We loved the stove until Friday (other than the annoying front controls), but getting service is a bad process. No ability to call in a warranty problem after hours or weekends, so we are on day 3 and likely 2 more to go before we get a first visit. Live Chat was brutally slow and clunky. Anyway, hopefully next time it blows up it will be under the extended warranty we fortunately bought. That would have had a tech to us on Saturday.

[Rewarded Review] Problems

I love the stove. But I’ve been using gas for the past 23 years. I was cooking with a 12” pan that came with no lid included. Strange to me, I’m buy new pots and pans. Every other pot or pan in the package had lids or a lid except for the 12” frying pan. I’m a guy. But anyway I’m using the pan everything is working fine. I move the pan well jiggle the pan and the stove shuts off. I try to restart and the stove won’t let me. A picture of a lock comes on that does not let you restart the stove. I’m using the microwave and the toaster oven all at the same time as usual. Why did the lock picture come on and why can’t I restart right away there is nothing else in the stove. I burned the stuff in the toaster oven and I stopped the microwave. Called your support team and they did not know how either

[Rewarded Review] Surprised and Delighted

I did a lot of research, and shopped around quite a bit before making this decision. Most ranges with the options I was looking for were fairly expensive compared to just a normal electric range. So much so that I was considering compromising on what I wanted. I was surprised and delighted when I found this range! It had everything I wanted, at a reasonable price, and even had a storage drawer that I wasn't expecting (I purchased it online, so I hadn't actually seen it). I am loving it!!

I love my new induction range! It is so easy to cook on. Induction is fast and the heat is easily controlled. No more hard to clean cooktop for me! This is truly the range of the future with great features like air frying and convection cooking, steam cleaning and temperature probe! I couldn’t be happier!

[Rewarded Review] I will never go back to gas

As a private chef, I have always preferred gas ranges. After retirement I moved to Florida and gas was not available. I purchased a Frigidaire Induction range not knowing if I would like it or not. It was the best purchase of my life! I have moved a few times now since that first home and I have installed an induction range in every new home. My mistake though is I purchased a Samsung because it was a few hundred dollars less. I hated it. It did not cook as evenly as my Frigidaire. I sold it online and decided I would try the LG which was about the same price as the Frigidaire. Same thing! I hated it. The speed of the Fridgidaire bowling water is nearly two times faster. The whole overall cooking experience is just better. I just purchased a new Fridgidaire induction range about two weeks ago for my home in Pennsylvania and I couldn’t be happier.

[Rewarded Review] It’s solid

I’ve never used an induction cooktop ever but it’s seems really sci-fi esque! It instantly heats up almost any pan or pot and you can immediately after touch the surface… so cool! The oven also has a lot of nifty features like the built in air fryer. It’s also incredible they have a probe for the oven to connect with! Really excited to start cooking again when our kitchen is all done!

[Rewarded Review] Works great and I love the easy clean top!

The induction stovetop works great and is so fast to heat. The controls are easy to use. I can keep it clean without removing knobs and trays, etc. I'm just starting to learn how and when to use the various oven settings but the baking mode works great and has even cooking.

[Rewarded Review] Love my new Range

My previous range was 18 years old. It was a ceramic top and difficult to keep at correct temp and very slow to boil water.

Touchy and limited control functionality.

If you're someone who works the stove much like Doctor Who working the command center console in the TARDIS you will find this oven to be very frustrating. The front 6 inches of the stove top glass is completely off limits.....always. When not in use, as in OFF, and you place something along the front, or if you're cleaning the top, it beeps like a detonation clock. Also as you're cooking if you adjust the pan for any reason and in the process you cross the front part for a second, the burner immediately turns off forcing you to constantly turn it on again. The burner controls are not precise i.e., you turn it on and press 4 for medium-low, it will go to 2 or 3 instead. There's no - + selection so you have to troubleshoot to get to the right temp a few times which is annoying. Another annoyance is the oven menu. It's a disappointingly basic display compared to what my 12 yr old induction stove was. I think it was designed for you to "trust the process" rather than display for you all that is going on in the oven. When you want to change settings, sub menus are typically designed to bring you back to the main menu, but on this unit it exits entirely after you make one selection. If you want to make multiple changes you have to select Menu Settings for each and every settings change. I can say that as far as performance, both the stove top and oven cook very well, even better than my older induction unit. That is definitely a plus, but it definitely is something I have to get used to operating differently than my previous stove.

Failed after 4 months

The unit worked flawlessly for four months, then the cooktop failed. Warranty service determined it was unrepairable and I received a refund and am responsible to dispose of the unit. It was purchased on sale and costs more now, so I would be out some $ if I replaced it. However, the largest burner at 8.3" is too small for 12" fry pans, and too much space is taken up by the top controls. I will be getting an LG w/front controls. The oven is really great, but can't get past the small burner.

[Rewarded Review] Amazing!

I truly didn’t know what I was missing until we upgraded. We had a Frigidaire that was existing when we bought our hose and were very please with it and when it was finally time to replace did some research and stuck with Frigidaire but upgrade to induction. Let me tell you, UPGRADE is underselling it. You can get a pot to a rolling boil in like a min, consistent and nearly immediate temp control, and the convection oven is superb! I can’t write enough great things I have found using this range and can’t wait to find more! A+++
