The bookcase is easy to pot together. It is sturdy and a great size for bins and orgaizing toys and books for my son.

fine quality and great price

I needed a small shelving unit for my various shoes. I got this in the crate. It was much heavier than I expected. Easy to assemble following directions.

This is the third time I have ordered these bookcases. I have several in my sewing studio. And all over the house, which is where the books are --everywhere! Assembly is a no brainer because they're already assembled. Just unfold. Nice solid piece. Good looking. Very easy to put to immediate use.

Cool Basic Bookcase

Great bookcase for any space. Easy to put together, but be careful with the nailing, very easy to go off course and cause nail-bubbles under the wood (yes, I had to pull out several nails due to this cock-eyed nailing!) Great price, quick delivery, highly recommend.

Good for light duty use

This held up fine for a while. I bought for our office to hold the mailing station and accessories. I knew this was on the cheap side and wasn't going to last forever. However, someone at the office tried to use a heavy duty stapler on the top shelf and the force used broke the shelf. Be aware that this isn't meant for a lot of weight!

Great pieces for the money!

Purchased two of these for our "bunk room". Great for organizing books, knick knacks, puzzles, etc. for the grandkids' visits. Wasn't looking to spend a lot of money and these fit the bill perfectly. Took less than an hour to put together the first one by myself, which included reading the instructions and to be sure all parts were there. But the second one was a breeze. Colors go with our black/brown, mid-century look tv cabinet.

Basic 3 Shelf Book case

I had purchased this bookcase as I needed a small book case to put the remaining books I had in. It took me about an hour to put this together as I was working alone. you need a Phillips head screwdriver and a hammer. The instructions were clear - the pieces adequately labeled and no damage to the product. All in all the bookcase shelves seem sturdy - although instructions indicated that this was good for about 15 pounds of weight. The only thing I did not like is that the back pieces were very flimsy and so when you push the books against the back if you push too hard you may push right through. I gave it 4 stars due to the back not being that secure.

This bookcase is just what I was looking for at a fair price. I have a small house and the size is just perfect as I'm in need of more storage in my kitchen. One shelf holds 42 veggie cans (Double layer). The shelves are sturdy and screws together with 18 screws and 4 little plastic feet which makes it easy to slide if you need to move it. I suggest you use a power screw gun to put it together. The instructions made it easy to assemble. Nice cherry wood veneer goes nicely with my orange walls. Does not look cheap, Very nice looking bookcase. I'm impressed with the over-all appearance. My order came on time and undamaged. Thanks Overstock and USPS. Keep up the great service.

Okay, but has some issues.

Looks decent but the shelves aren't adjustable. Which is unfortunate considering they're just tall enough to be too much room for my average books, yet just short enough to make fitting my larger books on impossible. Still waiting to see a Bookshelf that doesn't make you nail on the back board to the frame and risk punching holes through the frame...

Don't settle for cheapest when a far better model is only a few dollars more.

Spring for the next better bookcase, it'll be worth it. The three-piece back is almost impossible to nail in without splitting the wood. If there were pre-drilled holes, this would not happen, but there are not. I ordered two, and the second bookcase came with no hardware.

Overall this product is perfect for it’s needed purpose. The overall assembly was simple and instructions easy to follow. Recommend a small hammer for nailing the back but would recommend a staple gun in lieu of the small nails.

It did the job

It was the help I needed when I needed it. I live in an apartment and the units were built some time ago, due to an error by the original builder, that finally caught up with them, I had a very wet office caused by an exterior problem. One of the things ruined was a bookcase I keep in the closet of this room to hold paint and other household repair items. This was the replacement for the one ruined and it has worked out very well.

It is not wood, more like cardboard

I thought I would be getting a decent wooden bookshelf and instead I got boards of fake wood. The structure itself is flimsy and the back is just an illusion of wood when in actuality it is pieces of cardboard. The paint chips off extremely easily and when built, screws go through the boards causing scrapes on other pieces it connects to. The bookshelf itself is pretty, but by no means is it worth the price. I would give $10 for something like this. In fact, you are probably better off finding a similar product elsewhere for much cheaper and better quality. Definitely do not recommend.

In general, it's good stand to keep to papers organized. Purchased it to have possibility to adjust self sizes as it was shown on picture. But actually no such possibility. Each shelf should be screwed up without any adjustment. So, 4-stars only.

CHEAP

My only problem with this was in the packaging. I believe the bag sealing was having a problem and some of the nails for attaching the back were lost. The box itself did not hold up to the shipping process. Over all it was not an expensive piece and the complaints are mostly to give feedback as I am satisfied with the product

STURDY BOOKSHELF/TV STAND

REALLY STURDY AND CUTE BOOKSHELF. ITS NOT BIG BUT ITS PERFECT FOR A SMALL SPACE TO TO PUT A 26" TELEVISION ON. I'M GIVING MINE TO MY NEIGHBOR'S SON WHO IS REDECORATING HIS ROOM AS THIS TURNED OUT TO BE SMALLER THAN I NEED TO USE AS MY TELEVISION STAND ALSO. BUT I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT AND THE COLOR WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR.
