Was expecting better quality from GE

The quality of the range is good except for the storage drawer (cheaply made and doesn't stay on tracks) and the broiler (electric broiler which does not broil well).

Heat from burners & oven is perfectly regulated

It’s great — an improved version of the 1993 stove that replaced it.

Not the Gas Range I Expected

I waited 22 years (lived in a connected townhome and had to have electric) to have a gas range. I paid an upgrade fee to M/I Homes to get a GE gas range. I was not able to "see" the gas range in person, just on a computer screen.

Great oven

The oven works great so far and I love the built in grill. The oven also preheats really fast, which is great when I’m needing to cook fast.

Poor GE quality control, Home Depot incompetence!

Stove was defective: wrong orifices, not enough knobs, defective oven burner orifice, wrong instructions.

Great bang for the buck and a modern looking stove

This oven takes literally 20 minutes to heat up to 350. It’s ridiculous! My last GE range only took 10. Wish I could return.

ONE DEFECT RUINS PERFECT PURCHASE

Porcelain bottom of oven has a bald spot where the porcelain did not cover the surface, right near the front screw.

One of the front burners doesn't light properly. It doesn't light at all, or it only partially lights and I can smell gas.

Poor cooktop/griddle burner desisgn! HEAVY!

We recently upgraded a 25 year old poorly insulated propane range to this one bought from a local retailer. Just about anything will make you happy after cooking on an old range where the bake times are double! My husband installed it in no time and adjusted the burners to lessen the flame output which was suggested in the manual though the screw to adjust flame output was tricky to find (and he's an electrician/handyman by trade). So far baking times have been accurate and cooking on the cook top is fine. Unfortunately my local shop did not have this model in stock when we purchased over labor day and I went off online reviews. I regret I did not meet this model in person before purchasing.

This is absolutely the best gas range I’ve ever owned. I love it and it is perfect in every way. I have yet to find any cons about it. It cooks your food to perfection and can’t wait for the holidays to cook for my family. It’s a great addition to our kitchen and if you’re looking for a gas range I definitely recommend!!

After moving to Springfield I had a beautiful confection stove already in the home. Problem was it took over an hour to preheat and 1 burner would only light if you used a lighter. My new stove isn't a confection oven but I'm absolutely over the moon! I hated trying to cook on my last oven, this one, I just keep cooking away! Love it!
