Have used this for 13 years. Excellent product.
I replace one of these every month in our whole house filter. They do the job to keep the iron controlled in our well water.

Theses work well for our whole house filter. We have rust in our well water and these filter it out pretty good. I replace them every two weeks.
Only option for me at Home Depot and they usually work OK but I got a couple of defective ones where the carbon was released from the filter and tainted my water and I had to clean out the receptacles with soap and water. Asked customer service if they had any other complaints and they said no so I left and bought a lottery ticket

They work as they should
The water in my area is not the greatest. I put this on as a pre-filter for my pot filler and fridge ice maker. It seems to help with taste. Just make sure to change them as directed. I let mine go a bit too long and the water started to smell like sulfur. Went away as soon as I replaced the filter.
Filters are only good for about 30 days not 90as expected

These filters do an incredible job of filtering the sediment and getting rid of the chlorine. I just wish the city water was cleaner. I generally change these every three to four weeks, not months, because they get clogged.
