I installed this when I built my house. I only have it on the line that feeds the refrigerator for the water and ice cubes. Best water in the state as the refrigerator also has its own filter so we have double filtered drinking water and water for making coffee.

Works well! Our water is high in iron, I use these in the pre filter along with a water softener/brine tank combo in which I use iron out salt pellets. Works real good!
