Very nice unit however there is no adjustment to the doors except for those silly little shims which don't work. Everything was level and plum and the doors still didn't close properly. Need to work on the adjustment issues

Hard to assemble but worth it.

Once this is erected this is a nice looking shower enclosure - base is nice, materials are heavy and solid. Problem is putting this together. My contractor, an amazing carpenter, roofer, framer etc took 2 days to do this and this guy is organized! The instructions are poor and once he was almost finished the doors didnt meet to engage the magnet so he had to take the whole thing apart and cut down one of the bottom support brackets and then reinstall everything. Lots of tiny parts, seals, poor intstructions. Perhaps this is okay if you have lots of time, patience and skill- the eventual outcome is very nice, but the process requires some heroics. Update nearly 10 yrs later. Still looks great and was worth the hassle.

I bought this a month ago on Wayfair. It was delivered to the inside of the house which was pretty clutch in the rain since the glass is about 200lbs and in a cardboard box.

Great looking shower enclosure

The enclosure looks great. However the dimensions were actually smaller than advertised but that is not the reason for the low rating. The shower leaked badly and my contractor could not find a solution to the problem. In fact he is still trying to resolve the problem.

Gemini shower enclosure

An absolute piece of junk. Rubbers are so cheap I always have to adjust them because they keep bending out and water leaks all over to the outside floor. Door open to the outside causing water drips all over the bathroom tiles. Very disappointed!!!

Great looking and a great value

This seemed an obvious choice over custom glass for the cost. The shower pan eliminates the "dirty" grout issues with tile and looks great. My wife was really against it but now loves the finished product. We hired a "licensed professional" to install it and WOW did they ever botch it up! AND they wouldn't come back to fix it after I pointed out all of the mistakes. [Shocking since we are pretty easy-going customers.] I contacted Vigo and they were AWESOME! They shipped out replacement seals, shims and caps really fast. My wife and I took it upon ourselves to fix all the mistakes. Had no problems taking the doors off, adding the metal-to-glass shims, and reapplying the door seals. Very pleased overall. The general contractor steered clear of installing it because he didn't want to deal with the aftermath if there were any leaks. So he sub-contracted to a local glass company that really had no interest in the job and ended up doing it poorly.

I was impressed with the quality and sturdiness of the enclosure. It was well packaged and undamaged by shipment. My reason for not giving it a perfect 5 rating was due to a missing set screw for one of the support bracing connections. I also believe that the assembly of the unit would be greatly simplified by the manufacturer's pre-drilling of the holes in the base for the rails holding the bottoms of the glass panels. The little plastic anchors for the screws are hokey and create leakage possibilities. Having molded screw recepticals on the base itself would insure water tightness. That alone would save a lot of assembly time. Otherwise, I was pleased with its appearance and ease of assembly.

Let me start by saying this is a well made enclosure and I could have given it a 4.5 rating. I wouldn’t give it a 5 because there are a couple things that are hokey. Would I buy another one. Yes. Vigo strongly recommends professional installation. Don’t take this advice lightly. If you have not done serious remodeling and have serious tools hire a professional carpenter to install. The walls have to be plumb and the base level or it does not fit. I had to cut out part of the subfloor to get the base level. Not hard unless you don’t have the right tools. The house walls were off plumb and required 1/2” adjustment to get things square. The shower fit perfect when I installed it but it took effort on the front end.

Installed by a professional plumber. It was "okay" for about a year and then the seals started to fail, the doors came out of alignment and the braces slipped. The leaking got worse, escaped the towels I had around the base for each shower and ruined the baseboard. Please note that the seals are only guaranteed for a year and I have spent the last 2 years mopping up and trying to find new seals for it. It is a beautiful shower stall but it does not hold water in :-/.

Beautiful Door. Challenge was to align the doors to stop leaks.

Everyone who sees the shower says "Wow!". Well made product. I would have given the shower 5 stars except for the liners on the glass doors. It has been a challenge to line up the doors perfectly so that there are no leaks. The directions for this area are a bit confusing. I am a little bit concerned that over time the shower doors may start leaking again. Overall rating is 4.5 stars.

All of the Vigo products I have purchased have been great quality. I've owned this shower kit for 8 years and it still looks great. The glass is heavy and the hardware and finish are holding up well. The fiberglass base is heavy thick and heavy duty and is also proving to last very well.

Looks expensive but it's not

I wanted a high-end master bath on a budget. Sure, I could have spent more money, but i would have gotten the same look.

Very nice looking shower enclosure. I’ve used it for 2 weeks and it’s great. A tip for your contractor, which I didn’t do, is to put sealer inside the bottom holder to prevent water from seeping out. For aesthetics, I told the contractor to not use the base and use tiles instead. Worked out great.

I just want to start and say if you don't work out on almost a daily basis, this is NOT a project you want to do. This is substantial. The glass is very heavy and sturdy. When install it looks great and does its job of keeping water in quite well. I have seen some reviews where there are complaints about water leaking out of the door, and it will leak there if you spray water on them but the instruction clearly state to not do this. I have used it for about two weeks now and love everything about it. I would have given it five stars, but the picture does not show the magnetic door seal or the edge seals. This is not a big deal but why not actually put an accurate picture of your product on the page. Overall glad I have it and would buy again.

Beautiful

Redid out master bath and shower corner unit is major focal point. Base and glass enclosure complicated but we'll engineered. Contractor installed which took pressure off SKY project. Love the way the glass is clear with no streaks regardless of steam after showering. No squeegee or wiping down needed. Wondering how long that will last. Some leaking but hope contractor will identify source of issue. Making certain door closure is tight. Many compliments.

Nice After Search For A Large Spacious Shower Enclosure and Quality. Choose Vigo VG606347WS and Shower panel. After A Long Month Prepping The Area Of Where It Will Go. Was Easy To Setup. Well Built Constructed. No Leaks Except One Issue. The Seal Between Both Doors. One Door Closes First Then The Other For A Over Lap Seal. If Done Incorrect Will Leak. Wish They Had A Full Door In This Model. Other Than That Works Great Well Built.

This shower looks great and was not super hard to install; however, it leaks like a sieve in the area between the door and right side panel. We are recaulking but not sure that adding more caulk will remedy the problem.

beautiful product

We absolutely love this product.. It arrived in the expected time. Installing was not to difficult. We had only some minor door adjustments, and with the support staff we were able to figure it out. We have had it installed a couple of months and absolutely love it.. It is beautiful and classy. We highly recommend it.

Excellent product

We purchased this about 5 years ago and I installed it in our new home we had a few issues (chipped glass , missing trim pieces ). But after a couple of phone calls to over stock and vigo all of the issues were fixed in a timely fashion . The instructions were not good at all but seeing that I own a floor covering store and we have tiled many shower surrounds I did figure it out . After 5 years I hope they sell replacement parts like the plastic trim and the chrome insert that the glass slides into .then maybe 2 -3 hours of work it will be brand new again.
