The lamp stopped working after about 2 years and I had to buy a replacement.

Nice Lamp - Good Construction - NEED OPTION TO TURN OFF SWITCH ILLUMINATION

The swing arm lamp arrived in perfect condition and looks great on either side of our bed. The switch is easy to get to and allows for easy adjustment of brightness. I had to loosen the arms up a bit to get it to swing more freely. I would probably like the fixture a bit more if the light was more of a spot. It's primary use is reading and you don't need the whole bed lit up for that. Really, just a small area. If it had an adjustable spot, that would be really cool.

Excellent Product Support

The light is perfect - clean look, bright light, smooth functioning, easy to use and best of all, the customer service support to dismantle the bright(ish) light on the faceplate was excellent. Many customers expressed concerns about that light and we did not like it either. When we called the company, they quickly explained how to rewire it. No problem. It was a minute task to turn off the "night light" for both lights.

perfect bedroom lights

These are excellent bedside reading lights. The design is classic, the color of brushed chrome is a perfect neutral fit and the dimmer function allows for mood and superb reading lighting. My husband and I are thrilled to have them.

All good. One minor negative

Solid, functional, easy to install, sleek. Good task/bedside light. The only negative is the too bright button switch that controls on/off and dimmer. I stick several round stick on labels to the button and now it's appropriately dim at night. Overall excellent

Doesn't disappoint

The fixture looks exactly like the picture. Installation was extremely easy; it can be plugin or hardwired. The intensity can be dimmed by holding the power button. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the head doesn't articulate upwards, only side-to-side and downward.

Not a Good reading Light

I bought this to be a reading light over my bed. Poor lighting for this function, the dimmable function is awkward and I HATE the feature where a light stays on under the button to turn the lamp on and off. Have to unplug this every night to fall asleep. Trying to figure out how to exchange.

more than expected

We bought these lamps to replace hot halogen lamps we use for reading in bed. They were easy to install and look very nice. They have a good range of motion so as to not to disturb the bed partner. Others have said that the lit on button is too bright. We hardly notice it and it does help to find it when the room is dark. BUT and here is the bonus kicker. None of the descriptions said the light was dimmable - a nice feature to have. WELL IT IS. we found it by accident. When the light is on, just hold the on button down and it cycles through a dim and bright cycle. Just release the button at the desired intensity. Next time the light will remember. We could not be more pleased.

On/off switch glows

The on/off switch glows when the light switch is off. We went through the effort to get room darkening window coverings for our bedroom and now we have two bright glowing switches over our night stand. I could not find a description of this "feature" in any description online. Not a good surprise.

Great bedside lights

The lights themselves are a little on the small side so keep that in mind. The photo below is a king size bed. The power button light (when the light is off) is very bright so I disconnected it. I also had to loosen up the elbows so the lamp moved more freely, there are screws that can be adjusted. The light in the photo is brushed nickel. Overall we're very happy with the lights.

Perfect Modern Reading Light

I was hunting for the perfect reading lights to mount in my modern bedroom and this is it! I love the sleek design and shiny chrome finish and it's also full of function so the light can be aimed right where you need it.. The clincher was the dimmer! After endless comparison shopping this price seems hard to believe. I bought a set of two.

Nice looking and nice to use

I bought 2 of these to go over an L-shaped couch where there's not enough space for a floor or table lamp. These work perfectly. They look great, move out of the way when you aren't using and they have a dimming feature.

Would Recommend this light but "check the swivel"

The delivery was prompt and all packages were received in good condition. The supplier could not authorize a return due to the fact that the installation was delayed 2 1/2 years (which is understandable). The moral of this story is to inspect the product ASAP, even though you are not ready to install. We are enjoying the lights and they are beautiful!
