This was the perfect addition to my eat in kitchen area. It was just what I was looking for as so many chandeliers are too big for this area and a pendant was not enough light. It goes with my decoe perfectly!!

We purchased 2 of these 3 light chandeliers for our 12 ft island as well as the matching 6 light chandelier for our dining room. There was no breakage due to the excellent packing. The fixtures are beautiful with soft light bulbs. They are hung with the shades pointing upward. All three are gorgeous and provide plenty of ambient light. The frames are solid and sturdy, however assembly and installation were a bit complicated. Screwing together the bulb holders and metal surroundings was difficult. One of the sockets needed adjustment. Once installed they are lovely. We would recommend these fixtures.

Galveston 3-light Chandelier

I have gotten many compliments on this light and I also like the look of it very much. I think that it would help to have some rubber washers between the inside glass and the part that screws on to hold the glass in place. Being that it is glass on metal, it tends to get a little wonky often and I am reluctant to screw the inside part on tighter. I don't want to break the glass. Also the light hangs from three support rods, that I don't think are adjustable, and the whole light hangs a tiny bit crooked. I am giving it four stars because I really like the lamp, but taking off one star because of the wonkiness.

I am really happy with the look of this chandelier, however, you do get what you pay for. The finish is thin so be careful when hanging - the slightest scratch will damage the finish (nothing a sharpie marker cannot fix). The installer had a hard time getting the globes to sit level and straight, but after an hour or so of finageling and messing with it, the globes finally sat right. We initally tried the "Edison" bulbs shown in the picture, but thought they did not look right - they were too tall for the globe and the proportion was off. We tried a round "Edison" bulb and liked that much better. Now that the chandelier is up, we are keeping it as we do like the look of it......just know that you are not getting the quality of a high end brand.
