This rain barrel is very sturdy and attractive. It is lightweight to maneuver in place. We do not have it hooked up yet, but look forward to be using fresh rainwater for our chickens.
Almost, but not quite
Purchased and installed these January 2023. 1. The first rainstorm, the sides bulged out. Obviously not designed to be filled to capacity (-1 star). 2. The idea of putting plants on top is great, but unrealistic. They will either drown or dry up. Also, during any rainstorm, the water will wash out whatever’s planted there. (-2 stars). 3. I’ve had them over a year, they are have faded dramatically. (-3 stars). They’re still holding up, but not looking so great. But the nozzles still work!

Do not buy
We were so excited to buy this rain barrel and within the first summer one of the sides puffed out, and the spigot broke. Had to go out and buy a new one the very next summer. Also, there was no point in planting flowers in the area designed for that because the water would just overflow and drown them all out.
The barrels are lovely. would have been nice to actually get two in the right color I ordered. Ended up scrapping the whole idea and returning them after multiple attempts to get the right color delivered.
Sides bulge
First rain and the sides are bulging out. It looks terrible, after just the 1st rain. We have already shortened out pipes and can't just return at this point, as something has to keep the water from the sides of the house.
Good looking water collection container
Functionality of it not so good. Where they put the spigot is in the worst location to hook up a hose to it. You can’t put anything like a watering jug under it. Especially when there is water in the container the container bulges out.
I have ordered two of these over time. Both cracked because of the Arizona heat. I like the style and the place for flowers in the front. I'm ordering another only because I haven't found anything I liked better.
