Just not what we thought.....

This is ok for the price. My wife is making me return it as it looks small in the space we wanted to install. Read the reviews and ensure size is correct. The image with the black door is not to scale. Just not for us....

I would have given this light fixture 5 stars if it wasn’t for the glass globe the cracks/breaks easily. I had problems with 2 out of 5 fixtures globe breaking/cracking. Like other reviewers that stated similar issues and manufacturer doesn’t have replacement. So I had to order another fixture and replaced the globe. You would think you could at least buy replacements. Other than that it’s a very nice fixture.

Mounted under an existing poured concrete roof. Mounted in place of existing fixtures, hardware kit furnished was standard and straight forward for a lighting installation. Aesthetically pleasing with a nostalgic and slightly industrial look was exactly the effect we wanted replacing some existing vintage fixtures. I don't know about the look term finish on the oil rubbed bronze as we have the salt air breeze, we shall see. They have been installed for about a month now and we really like them!

This is a very nice looking lamp and solidly built. The only drawback is that you need a Philips head screwdriver to replace the light bulb because the cage is screwed on. They should have simply supplied thumbscrews instead of flathead screws to remove the lamp guard.

Glass domes very thin glass and no way to secure in place. Broke the first dome just by simply lifting into place. Very bad design, you’ll see. Most lights of this type have some kind of screw nut to hold dome in place. Nope they tried to save a few cents by not using screws and by making the glass a screw type mold. Again, terrible design on the glass domes, cheap and thin. Really no need for glass dome, does nothing in the final show. Not worth the $50 price point.

We love this Light's design and presence. We are giving it a 3 or Average score however because ours arrived with the screw in socket for the bulb all crookedmaking it impossible for the bulb to "hang" straight. Poor quality control and workmanship. If we had received one without this flaw we would give this light 5 stars or an excellent rating. Since we installed it so high up with so much effort we will just live with it as opposed to uninstalling it, repacking it and asking for a replacement. It's always a quality lottery when purchasing something made in China.
