Great Dutch oven!

This piece of cookware is lovely to look at in addition to doing what a Dutch oven is supposed to do. I've made soup a number of times since I bought this and each time, it turned out great! The pot is so easy to wash with only light scrubbing needed to release more stubborn food particles. It's nice to be able to prepare and serve something in the same pot in such an attractive way. I haven't had it long so I don't know about the wearability long-term but I know that I'm happy with my choice. I will continue to use silicon or wooden utensils to avoid any scratches in the finish.

Easy clean up, I love it!

I totally love this product. I have a couple of their pieces. The non stick is great. Makes for super easy clean up. I wish the handles were bigger to have a better grip though. And I cannot see my self trusting it inside a 500 degree oven, or even a 400 degree oven. It seems a little on the thinner side material wise it would get too hot. I could see at 350 degrees for sure. Yet again having bigger handles would be helpful to grab onto to pull out of the oven safely. Aside from that, for the price and for how big and much it holds and the easy clean up, I love it! But I had to give it only four stars due to the short handles and the construction of material feeling a bit on the thinner side to use at higher temperatures to bake in the oven safely. I don’t regret buying it at all. I use it at least once a week.

Great multi-use cook pot!

Great multitask pan for browning meat to finish in oven! Lightweight and nonstick!! Cleaned spotlessly! Warning !! the handles get VERY HOT so pot holders are definitely needed ! But i still recommend this pot. It’s everything I wanted!

Great purchase

First get up and I’ve ever had, The reason I made the purchase. Number one price point. Number two the weight. Due to my disability, I am not able to handle heavy pots. This was exactly what I was looking for, and I have already made a dish in it, and I am extremely satisfied, and I cannot get over the beautiful colors. It stands out among the rest of my pots and pans . Love it

Perfect gift!! 🎁

The lady I bought this for absolutely loves everything about it. She has been constantly using her Dutch Oven and she love the fact she need no oil, cooking spray or butter in it to cook and the other thing she loves about it is that she can clean it in her dishwasher! Perfect gift for her. I like it because it’s so lightweight for her!!

Bad handles

the solid handles are too small and easy to lose your grip, even with put holders. A Dutch oven needs open C shaped handles for a tight grasp. Slipped while removing from the oven and dropped a Bouef Bourguinon all over the floor. Ingredients - $30.00 TIME - 4 hours.

Excellent Dutch Oven!

This is incredible. I was going to buy a traditional Dutch Over made out of cast iron but held off because they are so heavy and hard to clean. The Granite Stone is well made, solid and lightweight. I am usually skeptical about trying non-traditional products but glad I purchased this. It is non-stick and easy to clean, a really high quality product.

Simply Put An Outstanding Product!

I bought this for use on our smoker when I make Chili since I was getting tired of using the aluminum pans only to yhrow them away after I was done. Let me say this Dutch Oven surpassed my expectations... when I took it off the smoker it looked horrible and I thought to myself this thing will never be as pretty as it was when I put it on in the beginning... BOY was I a LIAR to myself... when it says that its nonstick it truly is Nonstick!!! i could not be happier with this product! The pictures O have attached are pics after the dutch oven had been through the smoker and washed up a few times! Each time it continues to come out looking like brand new... and trust me after pulling it off the smoker its black and very gross looking! If you're looking for a great dutch oven for easy clean up and even yo use on campfires or smokers.. I highly recommend this one!!!

Great lightweight pan!

I had bought this dutch oven for my daughter and she loved it. After many years of use my dutch oven needing replacing so the first one I thought of was this Granitestone one. Excellent choice! It is lightweight and nonstick and cleans beautifully. There is no need to put it in the dishwasher. Very satisified.

Dangerous handles

The pot is beautiful and light. Can't speak to its longevity, since I am returning it after a single use. Bought it to replace my beloved cast iron dutch oven, because I didn't want it to scratch the new glass top stove in my recently renovated kitchen. So I went with a lighter aluminum. I boiled a pot of pasta and used silicon ribbed potholders to pour it into the colander. The stupid, tiny molten handles are impossible to hold onto, if the pot is not completely upright. They do not even have a loop for a better grip. They are super slick and slide right out of one's hands. The whole thing went flying. I barely escaped a tsunami of boiling water. My stovetop was not so lucky. Of course, it's scratched by the falling pot, and now I have to move the newly balanced stove to get the pasta and the pasta water from behind it. I do not understand the great reviews.

Bought as a gift!

I loved mine so much that I got one for my good friend. It evenly cooks the food and intensifies the flavors with the self-basting lid. Then the clean up is sooo easy by the dish washer. I got silicone knob cover & handle covers so I didn’t burn my fingers while taking the lid off & also to hold one of handles while stirring. Best pot I have ever owned. The 6.5qt pot seems to hold more than it says.

Amazing results

I have been in the market for a Dutch oven. As I looked through the many types out there it would become discouraging because so many need special care. My children help with dinner a lot and so when I am buying things to use in there I need to make sure that they are easy to clean and don't scratch easily. That is what drive me to get this one. I don't have to worry about my kids scratching it or washing it wrong. I love that it can be heated up to 500 degrees because I can throw it in the smoker if I want. Perfect for any one wanting a good Dutch oven.

The best pot I have ever owned!

I always used a cast iron pot to make soups and stews but it has really gotten to heavy for me to lift anymore. I was ecstatic when this pot did everything I needed it to. Food does not stick to it, even while browsing and sautéing. Both can be done without extra butters and oils. It has induction heat which keeps it cooking evenly and prevents it from having any PFO’s. You can use metal utensils on the inside and it will not scratch. I made whipped potatoes with and electric beater and not a mark on the inside (this was stated in directions). It is also dishwasher safe and is pretty enough to go from stove to table top if you want it to! Highly recommend

Nice looking and great features

I have the black 6.5 quart Granitestone Diamond Dutch oven. It is perfect for larger meals. The pot is aluminum with a reinforced bottom, unlike other dutch ovens that are often very heavy, this one is not. The aluminum allows it eat up quickly and evenly. Although it is 6.5 quarts the pot is shaped so that it is more deep than wide allowing it to be easily used on burners. Use pot holders when utilizing it on a stove top, as well as in the oven as the handles do get hot (which is to be expected when using a pot that goes from stovetop to oven). The nonstick surface makes clean up a breeze.

new favorite

The pot is deep and not too wide so it fits well on any burner, even the smaller ones. The pot is light weight, but reinforced on the bottom so no concerns of warping from heat. This is a naturally non-stick surface without any teflon. I have others like it and instructions are to eat the pot first, then put food in it. It helps keep it non-stick. So far, this works with this pot as well. I have a family of 5, 4 of them adult (or near-adult) males so I cook large portions and this pot serves the purpose.

Excellent Value, Great Dutch Oven

I am amazed by this Dutch oven! When I took it out of the package, it was pretty light and I had my doubts because Dutch ovens are typically on the heavy side. However, my doubt we’re quickly erased when I started cooking in this. It cooks beautifully and evenly. It is now my go-to in the kitchen. Clean-up is super easy. And the design is beautiful just like the traditional Dutch ovens and something I love seeing displayed on my kitchen. Great product, highly recommend!

Surprisingly light and non stick

I have been watching a Dutch oven for a long time and was definitely excited when I got this, I was a bit surprised how tall this was but even more so on how light this was. Size wise most crock pots are more wide than tall so this did throw me off a bit but once I used it I was how they height could be beneficial because when you roast a chicken or a roast you can toss all the veggies at the bottom of the Dutch oven and it allows the meat to have plenty of room and and allow to cook more even. This also heats up really fast, when I used it on the stove it heated up within a few minutes and held the heat consistently which was great when I made pasta sauce because I had to cook it for hours. When placing in the the light weight made it really easy to take it in and out especially consisting a standard Dutch oven can be really heavy this makes it better especially when having a full Dutch oven. I think by far my favorite part of this Dutch oven is that it is non stick meaning when I made bread it in I literally turned it oven and the bread popped right out not to mention I didn’t have to scrub it to get it clean I literally sprayed it with soap and water and let it air dry and it was good to go. Honestly I love this and have pretty much used it everyday I have had it and would highly recommend it.

Very Good Utility Pot

The Granitestone 6.5 Quart Dutch Oven that I sampled came just in time for Thanksgiving cooking. I used it for making soup stock. It worked very nicely for simmering and straining the stock. The pot would be great for other big food prep operations such as browning off meats and veggies for stews. Since it is rated oven safe, I can start a dish on the stovetop and finish braising it in the oven. The only problem I have with the pot is that I think it is a bit lighter in weight than I would have expected for doing heavy cooking chores.
