The chandelier uses metal tubing from the light to the hook at the ceiling. The tubing comes in 12 inch and 6 inch lengths to adjust to your ceiling height and desired height.

Very nice light, we have 'country' decor and this fit in perfectly over our dining table. We had 60 watt bulbs but had to go to 40 watt as it was too bright.

We just love this light fixture in our dining room. It's excellent quality and looks very sharp and clean. People always remark about it. We're looking for something similar for our kitchen now, or at least complementary, and we're big fans of the Quoizel brand.

Good quality. The light was just not for me even though it matched my pendants I was not a fan of the design. The shades are stark white against the brushed nickle. It is a good contrast.

Very disappointed

I was so excited when I found this light. However, it fooled me because the picture only showed the rod, which is what I wanted. But, it failed to show that the rod attaches to the cover plate by way of three CHAINS! I hate chains. That's why I bought this light because it showed rods, not chains. Didn't know it had visible chains until we put it together. Now it is up and it looks cheap! However, it most defiantly was NOT cheap. Guess we will have to live with it now, but husband hates it.
