Holes on towel after only 2 months

Received my towels 2 months ago. Already, one of the two towels is developing holes in the fabric.

I bought the color paprika (red). I have only washed them once but they looked the same after washing. Held up quite nicely. They are a good large size and I really like that the tag is also a loop for hanging the towel. These towels are absorbent and nice looking and well made. My only complaint is that, since this design is usually a smooth cotton, these are terry cloth. Terry cloth is okay but I was expecting something different and would have preferred the smooth cotton.

Not sure what happened to the product I received. It looks like someone repaired a cut in the towel perhaps? So sad because they were exactly what I was looking for otherwise. Extremely annoyed!

OK towels at a good price. T-fal dish towels used to be fantastic, but the fabric is thinner now.
