very basic, but the seal with the sink leaks

I liked how basic and how inexpensive this was, but I guess I got what I paid for. The black rubber seal that interfaces with the bottom of the sink is cone shaped, no step. that means that it may leak if it doesn't have a collar shape. It causes a very small leak, no matter how tight I make it. The rest of it seems functional, but it's useless if one part doesn't work. Returning it!

Drain plug is smaller than the hole. The rubber O ring is too small. Does not hold water.

The instructions were not clear, and the lever is longer than the original that is being replaced, and has to be cut.

It does what it's made to do.

So I didn't end up using it because it is plastic. My sink also had an extension which this did not come with. It is darker than the standard oil rubbed bronze but I think it's because it's plastic.
