Nice rug but …

We purchased four (4) Safavieh Aspen 100% wool area rugs for our home. Even though we loved the weight, texture and colors, we removed them due to a large accumulation of sand underneath the rugs. These rugs were made in India, and we felt an accumulation this substantial was detrimental to our health ( I have allergies) and to our floors which we just replaced with LVP. We only had them for about 18 - 24 months. Very disappointing.

Wet rug! Horrible quality!

I just received the Aspen Sophia square rug and opened the package and the rug is wet and stained. How does that even happen when the rug was packaged beautifully????I am so disappointed in the quality of Safavieh rugs. So disappointed!!! it must’ve been shipped from the factory wet.

Love this rug!

This rug is perfect in my sunroom. The colors are a little muted and beautiful together. I fringe adds a little fun spark to the room. It feels good on my feet as well.

fringe is impossible to clean

I like safavieh rugs and have bought 4 in the past for my home. however, I wish they would offer their rugs with or without the braided fringe. it's impossible to clean. I'd buy these round rugs if they didn't have the fringe. you can also never complete a look with safavieh. example: if I need a long hallway runner, a round rug for reading nook and one for beside the bed.... you're out of luck. they won't carry the same rug in all sizes and if they do, one of them is always out of stock. if it's a popular rug, safavieh should carry it in all sizes and make it without the fringe. good luck cleaning that fringe. I'm thinking about cutting it off of one of my rugs. nothing but a dirt catcher.

Beautiful but color is different than description

I love this rug and the size is perfect and the color pallet is beautiful. Beware the background is not charcoal as described. It is a plum color. It is always hard to tell color online. There is very little gray in the rug but thankfully it works I will just have to add some coordinating items in the room.

Colorful Quality Rug

I’ve owned other Safavieh wool rugs. They are always high quality and this one didn’t disappoint. Pros: It’s thick and well woven. There’s no material sticking out. The variety of colors in this rug will match anyone’s room decor. There was no chemical smell (I still unwrapped and aired it out in the garage for a few days as a preference). It has a unique design that I’ve received many compliments on. Cons: Natural fiber wool rugs are high maintenance to clean. They have to be hand washed with special detergent. It’s not the softest. Also, if you have a vacuum with a roller brush, turn it off when using on this rug to prevent pulling up the material. Overall, the price is wonderful for the quality received.

Great blend of colors

Love this rug! The colors blend perfectly with furnishings of blue and saddle brown. Good thickness and quality, looks like needlepoint. I don't actually see any true gray in the colors, it is a more of a blue hue, which I prefer. Wasn't sure how the tassels would look, but have come to like the sassy, yet casual look. After having the rug in place for a few weeks, we also bought the matching runner. Definitely recommend.

I ordered 2 runners and one 5x9 carpet because our elderly dog was having trouble jumping up from the wood floors onto our bed--I thought he would gain better traction with rugs. Given how inexpensive these rugs are I assumed that the were made of synthetic material. I wanted to leave a review on how nice these rugs are and noticed that they are made of wool. Wow! These rugs are an amazing value! I love the colors and the "distressed" look, and I am pleased that they are actually wool rugs. All pros and no cons. I intend to order a few more for additional rooms!
