Gold not neutral beige

I was hoping this rug was more neutral beige/gray, but instead it was very yellow/gold in my room's natural light. I am a wool rug fan yet this wool was far more coarse than expected. Overall not the quality i would expect from Safavieh. Customer service was wonderful. Return shipping fees not so good.

This is a beautiful rug with warm rich tones and a pop of green. Mine is very true to size and is excellent in quality. It has s bit of a washed out look, not a vibrant pattern, an elegantly antique feeling that looks great with my rustic decor. It has no backing as it is hand knotted, I currently have a 1/4" rubber backed felt pad under, thinking a little more cushion might be nice?? I was nervous to order a rug but very pleased!!!! Looks awesome!! I was so excited to receive this rug I didn't realize the rug was not vibrant in the pattern and it had a long black line through the length of the rug. I sent it back, the second rug arrived with greater detail and more color , the border was different, but it had several black lines running across the width of the rug. I ended up also returning this one. Strange how both rugs were so different, both defective. Too expensive to not per perfect. Overstock was fantastic in taking care of this problem, I am new to O and very impressed with the customer service.

Cool mostly neutral color scheme, with a touch of sage green (just a bit more green in real life). Works great under our dining room table.

Beautiful hand knotted rug and a very reasonable price. Had to return the rug because the 8' side actually measured 8'6 and it did not fit the space. Wish that a 7'9 x 9'9 size would have been available. Hated to have to return it.
