COMPLETELY DISSATISFIED! Well, this IS a beautiful rug...(2 stars)... it goes downhill from there. Unfortunately it never stops shedding... I vacuum every other day and it fills the vacuum canister. The loops in the rug pull up & out so the entire rug has loops that stick up straight they must be trimmed so they are not noticeable.... The color has faded quickly too. Just know all these things BEFORE you purchase. I spent A LOT on this rug, and it will be replaced sooner than I anticipated... sadly enough.

Ok, so this review was flagged for using a profane word equivalent to rejected....? I usually love the look and feel of Safavieh wool rugs, although sometimes feel as though I am receiving a slightly used, perhaps rejected rug. I'm all for recycling, but...if this is the case, rugs should be discounted if they are re-sold. The rug I just received has a brownish stain on the back of it - very strange. The colors are bright, surprised that the rug is not true gray - there are beige tones mixed in - the thickness is nice, but I am really bothered by the stain!

I bought a Safavieh rug for my bedroom. I loved the quality. So, I bought another for under my table. It was even better. So I bought this one for my entryway. It's simply stunning. The tribal pattern works very well with my Arizona decor. I bought another small one for my bathroom. They aren't the same, but somehow match. The fringe is just great. So different. The looped pile feels good on your feet!

It's a lovely, well-made rug. However, several of the photos on the website don't accurately reflect the color. The dominant color is grey with orange accents. Some of the photos made it look to me as though the blue and pink would pop more. I knew I was taking a chance and probably wouldn't have ordered it if I'd realized how overall grey it was. BUT it IS a very nice rug, for sure - just not what I'd hoped it would be in terms of color.

I love it!! I opened up and let it sit outside on a covered dry porch. Vacuumed a few times as I read the reviews about shedding. Ran vacuum again when I brought inside. 7/15/24 update…. The musty smell has made its way out. Hoping it goes away soon :( I love it but may have to lower my rating depending on how long it takes to go away. Open to suggestions. This has been a bear to get the smell out and I vacuum daily and it fills up with fibers every time. It’s so disappointing

DO NOT BUY THIS RUG UNLESS U CAN MAINTAIN ITS ANNOYING UPKEEP. this rug is pretty but so unrealistic in terms of the material its made from. i cannot stand how much it sheds. i am having to ditch the rug in general bc its that bad. 010 recommend.

Shedding that never ends.

This rug is beautiful. But the shedding never ends. It's been 1.5 years and my whole home is covered in wool particles. I have to dust every day and vacuum. It looks like I own a large shedding dog but I don't. The shedding on this rug is really excessive. This is my 6th rug from Safavieh and the only one that does this.

Got the 6 foot round one and love it. I was concerned it would seem more taupe than grey, but it's a lovely grey, and the other colours are rich and beautiful. Unrolled flat, it's shedding a bit as wool rugs do at first but it's not enough to be a problem. I looked at about 1000 rugs before choosing. No regrets! It's beautiful.

Out of comfort zone

When I ordered this rug, I was a little hesitant....because it wasn't a rug I would normally buy. I tend to pick rugs that are plain...boring. I am not disappointed! This rug is in a hallway, and I love the colors

I really like the rug, but it smells really musty. I put baking soda based carpet odor eliminator on it and let it sit overnight before vacuuming, but the musty smell hasn’t left. I put baking soda out to absorb the lingering odor. Hopefully it will subside. Strangely, the fibers from the carpet clogged my vacuum. So, there are a couple problems that I am enduring because I like the color and the style.

My favorite thing about the rug is the fringe. The bright colors make this rug look cheerful and sort of hand made. I put it in my spare bedroom that will be where my first grandchild will stay when she comes to visit! It’s beautiful- love it!

So cute! I got the 4x4 and it is perfect for my tiny space. My cats are huge fans too! They slept on it all night the first night.

BAD SMELL!

Although the rug looks good, it has an awful odor, I’m trying to get rid of it by airing it and using baking soda, no luck so far.
