Not a good purchase!

This sink is difficult to keep clean, stains easily, and it is difficult to find products that are approved for use to clean it. I would not recommend buying this. I would go with porcelain or stainless steel instead of Quartz for a sink.

Cracked Sink

We purchased this sink during the design phase of our kitchen remodel to ensure we had the optimum sink for the job, knowing we wouldn't actually install it for at least six months. When it came time to install the sink, 9 months later, we discovered the sink had not one, but two cracks in the corners. The outer box read " Fragile - Handle With Care." Well, obviously somewhere in the shipping process, someone surely didn't. The fact that there are two different cracks seems to me that the quartz material is too weak.

[Rewarded Review] Excellent Farmhouse sink

We wanted a darker color sink. I was shocked when I found this one in a beautiful matte black. Also love the short separation in sink allowing you to keep certain thing separate; like baby bottles and dirty dishes. Very light weight and easy to install. I also ordered the sink drain and garbage disposal drain to match the sink.

This is the most beautiful sink I have ever seen. It looked great in the pictures, but in person, WOW it's a total stunner. I'm so excited to have it installed. Also, the quality is exceptional. We purchased the concrete color which is a taupe-grey color; exactly what i wanted.

Ordered on a Friday and received on Saturday. Solid construction but not overly heavy like a clay or iron sink. 4" tall divider will be perfect for separation but still allow larger items (Jack Russell Terrors) to be washed. Better $ than my **** pro discount and included strainers and grid inserts. Cabinet installer was impressed with the construction design that allowed easy install and provided extra support.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SINK!!!!!!! I ordered this sink from overstock because it was priced lower than all other competitors! I have been pricing this sink for months and I finally found it for a great price on overstock. This sink is perfect for my farmhouse style kitchen and the apron is a plus. I am currently renovating my kitchen and I am truly happy I found just what I wanted in a farmhouse/apron sink. Too excited, can wait to upload pictures of this beauty!

Disappointing surface. Scratched by a Finger nail

I bought this sink on advertising rhetoric. I assumed the term “quartz”meant “tough and durable” nope! So soft, a small scratch in the apron can be worsened by my Finger Nail! In school they taught me hardness tests wood, stone etc… this sink failed without even trying. Not acceptable for a sink, or any surface in a kitchen for that matter. I have video showing the thin painted surface chipping away. Returning immediately.

Matt white looks so modern!

Arrived cracked by carrier but I'm so glad I reordered replacement! The sink looks great along side quartz counter top. the deep sink is perfect depth and it makes so much sense the the plumbing opening is toward the back of the sink. Updated review: Still love modern look. Porus material absorbs stains like spaghetti sauce and stains don't come off right away. Magic eraser does not remove scuffs on center divider.

Not for extreme use

The sink arrived in good condition. Complete with all parts listed; great packing material. It's much lighter than your traditional sink at around 60 lbs. The sheen is more of a matte luster than I was expecting. Everything looked good, however we ended up returning the sink after reading the care instructions. This sink is a composite amd thus is sensitive to extreme heat and chemical compounds. We cook with cast iron and sometimes let the hot pots rest in the sink which could damage it. We also make soap which uses lye, a compound which the care manual specifically calls out as a no-go. In the end, this sink didn't match our families needs, but it would be a great choice for a typical kitchen user with standard pots and washing use. It's huge and could also be used for washing a pet or bathing a small child.

Great look!

Pleased with the overall look and feel of the quartz sink. Love the depth and width of inside sinks. Have not used as of yet awaiting completion of installing countertop. Cannot reply on how sink holds up to stains / chips. Delivery was speedy. Only disappointment is the underlying strip on the bottom of the apron front is pretty rough. Noticed another review to take a piece of sandpaper to smooth out. Will try this.

As a disclaimer, I will tell you that I don't normally take the time to do reviews, but I was enticed by a $10 gift card from the manufacturer. That being said, I will tell you that I LOVE this sink! It is a beautiful, bright white and looks fantastic with my white quartz countertop. I have had it installed a few months now and it still looks like new, despite being used multiple times daily for meal clean-up. Both my cabinet installer (who cut the cabinet to fit the sink) and my countertop installer (who mounted it) remarked at how easy the install was and how well it fit into place. Both men had experienced past troubles with similar fireclay models, due to their irregular shape and fragility. This quartz-composite sink is both durable & beautiful - I highly recommend!

Be aware of 5 star reviews. Karran offers a $10 gift card if a purchaser posts a 5 star review. The retrofit is a great idea to limit the amount of needed cabinet modifications in older kitchens. However, if you are doing a major update you may want to go with a higher quality sink. During installation a push with the front of a leg cracked the apron on this sink. Since the cabinet modifications and counter top were already designed for this sink I did order a second sink. Karran obviously knew about this problem since the new sink came with a sloppily installed piece of particle board glued between the sink and thin outer apron. Karran did offer a partial refund on the first sink however, most kitchen updates are a major undertaking and I would suggest going with a higher quality sink.
