It works, but it keeps popping off the bottom hook. We have to secure it somehow. Was happy it worked, but frustrated it keeps coming off. It also retracts very fast, be sure to hold on to the gate while you close it.

I bought this for my wide front porch opening so my grandchildren could safely play. It works great. I love the fact that I can remove the gate from the post and put away. I would recommend.

Dogs can get under this so defeats the whole purpose of having it up.

Got this on the outlet, but it was perfect. It wasn't as long as I pictured in my mind, which is my fault! I should have measured it. We kept it though because I can see using it for multiple things, and for the price I got it there was no way I was sending it back. This is a beautiful gate and I love the close feature on it. I do recommend this to anyone needing an inside gate-just be sure to measure before buying! LOL!

This works great! I installed it myself without much confusion and have had no issues with it for several months. We use it daily it is far preferable to the annoying baby gate that had to be moved and re-adjusted every. Single. Time. We also have a metal gate that fixes in a doorway and latches, but that one has a bar across the bottom that has tripped us up several times resulted in many stubbed toes. This one is easy to open and close with one hand. You can lock it open at a specific length then not have to let it roll back up again. This feature means there isnt so much tension on the wall and the hardware. If its locked at the right length, you can just unlatch it, swing it open, then latch it behind you again. No windowshade-style retracting or struggles. Its excellent. I know it may look a bit odd, but Ive had dogs and kids around forever this is definitely the most functional gate Ive ever used. I will not buy any other kind in the future. This is a fantastic invention.

Keeps the dog in!

Poor quality. We’ve only had this retractable mesh gate for a few months. It’s only used to preclude our cat from entering our foyer, so she isn’t constantly trying to make a quick escape out the door. There aren’t any small children here, hanging and pulling on it at all.

Perfect to keep the dogs from running out the front door! Semi-easy to install. Instructions could be better and wall anchors were not usable. Had to use my own.

We bought this to put on our deck to keep the dogs off that part of the deck. We have three rescues who, if the weather is bad, refuse to leave the deck to go to the 2-acre yard they have to go potty! They want to potty on the new deck, which will not only ruin the deck but will make the entire area reek of dog urine and feces! This keeps them off the deck and forces them to go down the stairs to the yard.
