Does not recommend

Shedding non stop for more than three months. The whole house is full with the rug's shedding. We had safavieh rugs in the past, and never had such non-stop shedding. Clearly something is wrong with this rug, but the company said that there is nothing they can do. Very poor quality. Had to throw it away.

Bought two of these runners for sides of the bed in master bedroom. They look great on hardwood floors. Thick and plush, and good quality. They vacuum well and are well made. Design is versatile with my furniture and decorations. Happy with these runners!

This rug was beautiful, however, it had such a strong mildew odor I had to throw it out. Unfortunately I had purchased a few months earlier and waited to open it and wasn't able to return it.

Sheds fiber like crazy

I ordered 2 and put one out to try it. Fiber was coming of of it almost immediately and was visible on the wood floor as well. So while the color was as pictured, I've requested to return both and Overstock was very cooperative about arranging a pick up. (The moral of the story is that I should have read some of the reviews before ordering.)

Blue carpet

I wanted to love this carpet, but it was too blue for my space. I appreciated the fact that I was able to return it. The carpet however was beautiful and sturdy

I bought the light grey, ended up buying two for our new house. We used them in the master bathroom. Excellent and well made, love this brand.

The off white is closer to brown that beige or ivory. Not exactly what we were going for, but still a pretty rug. The pile is great and cushy enough without being too thick. The navy is a pretty colour and is a dark navy. Warning, you need a helper to move it. It's super huge.

Firstly, this rug looks like the photo on the website. I appreciate that. Yes, this is soft underfoot, but the slate blue has flecks of white in it that make it look as if it hasn't had a good vacuum. The wave in the wavy lines are uneven. Some have sharp points and some are barely pointed at all. Some of the fibers on one of the long edges are falling out....kind of like crumbling off the edge. And it SHEDS! I guess I wouldn't mind the shedding if I was happier with the quality. I kept the rug because I do like the simple design - it doesn't compete with the rest of the rooms colors but not exactly the quality I expected from Safavieh.

We ordered 2 of these rugs and were so happy with them. Quality was great, good color and held up well in high traffic area. We definitely would not hesitate to order again for other areas of house

I Love this rug! The color is great and it's soft and plush. It does shed a bit at first but goes away after a few vacuums. This is my second time buying it, thanks to my dogs...

Love this rug! Have the 8x8 rug to match and they both look great! We have children, grandchildren, and a huge Lab and both of these rugs have held up fabulously even with all the traffic!

I love this rug so much that I have bought it multiple times in various sizes. One rug was ruined by dogs, so I just reordered it. This one sits in a narrow hall leading into my kitchen and works great. It is a heavy rug.

Great looking rug for the living room. Outstanding value.

Beautiful but shedding...

I am pleased with the look of the rug and realize new wool rugs shed a bit, but this rug is needing daily vacuuming because of extreme shedding. I am anticipating this should stop soon or, as my husband says, the rug will be threadbare in about six months. If the excessive shedding continues I will follow up at a later date.

I bought this rug in hopes it would be as nice as it looked in the pictures with the dining room set I bought on Overstock. Very true to color and nice quality. Very happy with my purchase. 👍
