great value, well made

excellent cover. very little, if any stretch, fits perfect up to 96". I have a large, overstuffed couch . Relaxed fit that that stays in place.

Comfy couch cover

Really like the couch cover! We need a new couch but it’s in a playroom, so we opted for this - and will get a new couch when our kids are past the spilling and mess phase. Very nice material and thick. The color is exactly as pictured. Glad we did this!

Hmm... just okay.

I've bought three products from SureFit in the last two years. Two sofa coverings and one chair covering. I'm just not impressed. Even tho I spent extra money on the plastic bars to supposedly keep the covering in place, they just don't stay tucked as well as they should. And yes I followed all the instructions and watched the videos. I'm installing them correctly, they just don't stay in place or look nearly as good as they do online. Normal sitting, shifting around, and getting up and down moves them out of place and they need to be re-tucked almost every time. I'm not a complainer but I won't be buying more. And no, i don't think another company would make coverings any better. I just don't think these things work as well as they look in ads.

Lovely fabric, ask for a sample swatch to match color

I bought this slipcover to replace an old one. They hold up so nicely. The fabric is buttery soft and the fit is perfect. I purchased the Taupe - trying to match the color of my old one. The taupe color is quite light, more beige than taupe. Otherwise excellent.

Sort of works

I really like the fabric and look of this couch cover, but it does not stay in place as well as I would like. I am having to adjust and re tuck it a lot more than the last cover we had. It does stay put better than another cover I bought, though, which I returned almost immediately. I think it would help if there was elastic or ties or clips of some kind around the bottom to secure it in place. Also, it would be nice to have a cover designed for an overstuffed sofa, it would stay put better if there was more room for the arms and back of my couch, which are far more cushioned than any of the couches in the pictures on the website.

This slipcover has held up wonderfully. Bought it because our dog was constantly jumping on the (cream colored) couch. Protects the couch and hides a multitude of sins. Easy To wash, no need to iron and easy to take on and off. Well worth the purchase.

Beautiful update to a great sofa

My sofa looks so nice now! It's been a great sofa, well made, has been enduring and still so comfy. It just needed a new look from the original print. The sofa slipcover fits up to 96". My sofa is 97.5" and as you can see, it still covered it well. Everything is staying nicely tucked in too. This review is for the taupe soft suede sofa slipcover

Looks nice but didn't fit

I like the material and the color but I had hard time fitting it to my sofa especially to the armrests. It seems like it was made to fit a standard sofa. To be fair my sofa does not have a standard shape but I'm thinking if the cover was made of pieces joint with Velcro where you could separate and adjust as needed, that would have fit much easier. I would only recommend it if you have a standard non reclining sofa.

Wouldn't purchase again.

This is a challenging review, because I like the material, I like the color, and the look of the slipcovers. But you have to sit on it, use it, and that's where the praise ends.

Perfect for oversized sofa

I just got my cover and threw it on my oversized couch and it fits like a dream. I have another surefit duck canvas slip cover that is a tad too small (I've make it work.) But not this one! This one is super soft and the color is a nice Medium/ dark gray. It does not have a green hue, as I was worried it might have.

I absolutely Love this slipcover! So serious! I was worried that it wouldn't fit my couch because I have a huge fluffy chunky couch. Even the arm rests are thick and chunky. Like, it's the most comfortable couch ever! I was very surprised when I put the slipcover on and it actually swallowed my couch. After I made a few adjustments, a little bit of tucking here, a little bit of tucking there and whoa.... wait a minute.....don't know how I missed you?!?! Tuck. Tied 2 fancy bows then....Ta Da! Perfection! Not really...but close enough. On a serious note, these are some of the nicest slipcovers I've ever seen. They have the suede feel to them that I love. I also bought the same one for my chair. Had to give it 4 Stars though . I purchased dark chocolate for my couch and chair. At least, I think it was dark chocolate.... it might have been dark brown. I know that they both match.

I really like the material and the color is a very pretty darker gray. The material is not to thin, but is very slippery on my couch. I would suggest buying something to tuck the fabric in. I heard you can insert some pvc piping to help keep the cover in place. It would be nice if maybe they had some velcro to prevent slippage. The ties don't do enough to hold it in place.

I put this on an older sofa & it brought it back to a new life. Very good solution instead of replacing the sofa. If you follow the instructions to place it on its quite simple. However my adult children couldn't figure it out without the directions after the grandkids used it to make a fort. After I explained & laughed it had labels explaining locations they figured it out. Very durable & well constructed. Easy updated sofa!

It allowed me a CHANGE

I was REALLY tired of my red plaid couches which dominated what colors I could use in my living room. These covered the red easily and fit ok. They do look kinda messy cuz I'm not a constant retucking kinda gal and my son sure as heck isn't at all. Nice to sit on, and not that hard to put on. I'm a left-handed blonde and I still managed it all by my pretty self. If you want these to perk up a tired room and allow change I'd say go for it. (I now got rid of the red lamp shade and pillows in pic. )Use them until you find your perfect couches in the future.

Wow! Cat claw resistant...

I spent HOURS researching covers that are CAT CLAW PROOF. There is very little info available online about this. Finally I stumbled upon some info. Here is what I found out...MICROFIBER is the answer because of the tight knit. Also, one woman said that cats don't seem to like suede (which is a microfiber) material so that is a bonus. We have had this now for 3 weeks and the cats have been leaving this alone for the most part. Several times they attempted to claw an armrest and failed to puncture the material! The fit for our sofa was slightly large which was wonderful because I was able to tuck the material under the legs of the couch, preventing the cats from getting to the couch from underneath the cover! Nobody else appears to be making a cover like this. I also trim my cats' slaws every 10 days to keep them less sharp. We had previously owned the Sure Fit Canvas cover and the cats easily shredded the material. Withe the suede microfiber, it appears as if the problem has been solved. Yes, the cover does need brushed because cat hair is quite noticeable on it but the cats rarely go near the couch anymore. I haveincluded a before and after photo. Money well spent.

Not good

If you need to cover a sofa that gets a lot of use and/or have pets, this is not the slip cover to get. First, it's not obvious how to assemble it on the sofa. The elastic band in the middle was hard to get in the right place so that the rest of the slip cover could be fitted. The ties are useless. Second, the static - holy cow - the static. My dog and I shocked each other more times that I can count. The Nubuck material was a major conductor of static electricity. Third, it doesn't stay in place. Every time I sat down or my dog jumped on the sofa, within a few hours I was getting up and pulling the cover back in place. Once it was in place it looked fine, until I sat again. It just didn't stay in place. I finally purchased a 2 piece slip cover to replace this one. I have been much happier ever since.

The material is nice, the fit is not so hot.

The slipcover is made with a nice material, the color is good. The fit is not so great. I think this cover was made so people would have to buy the slipcover grips. I have had many covers and this is one I regret buying. The arms and back do not stay in place once one or more people sit on the couch/sofa.We have used the old trick of using long dowels to keep them in place. (holds the cover down between the cushions and the back of the couch). Granted, I do have two active kids so perhaps that contributes to it but I have had better luck with other covers. I bought this one mainly for the color to match my new curtains but because it wouldn't stay in place I went back to my old cover. I supposed a stretch or a two piece cover would have been a better choice.

Thank goodness the cat doesn't like it!

My cat is a covert sofa scratcher and has thoroughly ruined the current sofa, which I will need to replace when I move from my furnished apartment. Sigh. I chose this brand because the "suede" description sounded less likely to tempt her than the rougher texture of the sofa. And I'm delighted to report I'm right. I've had the covers on my sofa and loveseat for two weeks no with NO scratching. They fit well, were easy to install, and the burgundy color was a nice change to the décor. Only minor adjustments are needed after sitting. Best of all the covers hide from sight the shredded arms of the sofa. I wish I had thought to shop for these when I first moved into the place. Don't worry, I've already told my landlord I will replace the sofa/loveseat when I leave. Expensive darned cat!!!!

Love it.....I have a hint for the wrinkles.....

When I ordered this, I read a couple of reviews about the wrinkles.....in the slipcover;) I decided to grab a hand towel out of my washer, tossed it and the slipcover into the dryer on LOW for 10 minutes, I was so pleased with the results. Most of the wrinkles were gone. After I placed it onto the couch, I used my garment steamer on the few remaining, and I have a nice finished look. After it has been used several times, I do have to tuck a bit here or there, but it certainly makes my old couch look better.
