This is exactly what I wanted for my balcony! When it expands it does has some holes but it you play with leaves you can make it work. Very pleased with this purchase.

Hedge expansion

I purchased the double hedges but actually only needed one. It looks great and fixed the problem hiding the gas meter on the side of house.

If youre a bit confused on the sizing like I was, the more you stretch it, the shorter it becomes in height. However, one of these is absolutely perfect for your standard apartment balcony/patio. I wanted to cover my railing bars on my apartment balcony and was considering buying two, but decided to see if I even like it first, and one fit the whole porch In length and height, adds in view/sunlight yet still offers privacy. I wanted to be able to see out of my patio through the railing bars still without being completely covered and this offers just that. The leaves arent as fake looking as youd expect. Yes, they look fake, but its not a cheesy fake. Its great quality, very sturdy too. You have to purchase your own zip ties, and this is so sturdy that all I needed was 4 zip ties for each corner. Definitely a purchase steal with the price.
