Strange that the third ground prong faces upwards. I'm using it for an electric car charger, which has an heavy cable and an L shaped plug designed to hang downwards. With the upside-down outlet, it has to be plugged in with the L facing upwards. There's enough space inside the box for it to bend, but it's awkward, and will lead to unnecessary wear over time.

Installed on stock waterers to be able to turn off heater without unplugging works great. Good product, Sturdy well built to hold up outside

I purchased two of these outlets for my deck outdoors.

It was just what I needed to have power outdoors at the pool.

Product was better than described. I just recently hooked up for outside pond project.

This product is well made and eazy to use, mount, and maintain.

Does what intended. Gfi sorta sloppy in box.

The outdoor electable box replacement did the trick when I lost power to our lily pond.

It's Green, It's Huge

It's green, not dark gray. You'll be a wee bit surprised how big this thing is, especially the depth when the cover is down. I used this to act as the power source for an outdoor tankless water heater. I wanted a servicing switch and plug next to it plus a box type that has knockouts I can run flex conduit from and this fit the bill. This could easily be an 1" less in depth though. Additionally, it doesn't sit flush against the mounting surface, so you can't seal around it.

Simple solution for a code compliant outdoor receptacle. Quality heavy duty product.

Great box but old stile wire hook ups

The over all of box is very good but the fact that the switch and the plug was old fashion hook up for wires sucks to have to curl wires around screws.

Very easy to install- diagram was a little hard to read because of tiny font, otherwise & knocks on back of panel worked

Bad GFCI Outlet

I was happy with the box, but the first time I tested the GFI receptacle it would not reset. I determined that the outlet was defective and had to bypass the wiring to it in the box. So the box is basically a $60 cutoff switch to an external load.
