It's ok.

The top and bottom rails for the cot, is very hard to put into place. To take off the top and bottom rails, to fold up the cot, you have to use a hammer to take the rails off of the cot. It put dents in the rails. This is a good way to not have any more rails for the cot.

Bad design with bad follow through!

The design actually just has the tent portion sitting on top of the cot with no shielding to prevent any rain from getting inside. My tent was even missing one of the 4 loops to hold it fairly tight to the cot and have been trying for a month to get this situation rectified but it is too late for the camping trip it was intended for.

Camping made easy

Awesome; very versatile, use just the cot, or the tent, or both together. On the down side, I needed to add a tarp to use as a fly; the noise inside from rain was very loud.

Nice tent

Have not used it yet but it came fast and as described. Looking forward to camping again soon. I like the D doors and being off the ground. Hope it sets up easy.

Need to be gentle with it.

Just set it up for a test run in the backyard. Cot is good quality, study and easy to set up. I have a similar cot so wasn't a learning experience. Getting the tent on, I struggled a bit as it was the first time. It will be easy in the future. The tent itself is very lightweight as are the zippers. If you are gentle it won't be an issue, I could see this ripping if you are rough with it. I live southern Az, so cold, rain and strong winds aren't an issue where I camp.

Need to field test it

So far so good. Easy to assemble although instructions are too small and not detailed enough. Will not rate further as being in the backyard or house is one thing, but outdoors in the winter with rain or sleet is another. Want to see how it performs in adverse conditions.

Worth the money, but check all screws and nuts before use.

I liked the quality of the materials they used as well as the well thought out design. Well worth the money spent.

Granddaughter Play House

My 6 year old granddaughter took it over to use as a play house. She has it in her room and uses it to sleep in also. She loves it.

I like this concept

I like this concept very much. I like not having it on the ground. I like that everything comes with the complete sleeping bag. Pretty simple to put together. I hope to use it very soon!

Best value for the money

I bought this for my granddaughter's birthday yesterday. This morning as I was getting ready for work, curiosity got the better of me so I unboxed it and set it up in the living room in about 20 minutes. It is adorable. Everything is better quality than I expected for the money. It looked so cozy when it was set up that I wanted to crawl in it and not go to work today. We can't wait to use it for camping. UPDATE: I spent two nights sleeping in it and I like how the air bed, sheet, and sleeping bag are secured so they don't move around when you turn over...very comfortable. Also the cot has no cross bars to sleep on...big plus.

Nice for first time camper.

I am not a camper. I bought this knowing this would be my only camping trip. I slept comfortably. Easy set up and take down. I bought another sleeping though, the one included is not the best. Although the real campers that i went with laughed when i made the purchase, they agreed it was a good purchase when they saw it in action. I might go camping again.

Love it. It is a good buy.

It is a great cot tent. The only problem I have, it was very hard to put together of the tent. When I got the tent put up, I put yellow duck tape where the poles would go. IT IS WATER PROOF. You need to have everything closed up. Where the tent meets the cot, tape the two ends with tape, rain won't get on the cot.

COT/Tent

I had to have help with the top.. i couldn't figure it out.. I had a nice pad i borrowed from my daughter to put on the cot since the pad I ordered from Overstock got lost in transit and is now out of stock.. i slept good.. I do not like that the sides are now long enough and they should have straps that hook together.. I found my pants outside on the ground the next morning.. the door needs to have a screen to help with air circulation.. but, it was one night and served its purpose.

Good value, packs up small

My daughter actually bought this tent for inside use so she'd have something off the ground and a private place to sleep when visiting family. The tent is really perfect for this. The cot was easy to set up and everything fit easily back in the bag. The tent part was simple but a little more difficult to set up. Typical tent pole setup that can be done by one person but is easier with two. It seems to be well built but, just as the description says, it's meant for good weather camping.

It Works

This baby is great for the price. The only thing that it's lacking is the ability to completely close it since there exists a gasp between the top and base.

Well worth the money!

This is better than I expected! The cot is strong & durable material, and the 30" width gives enough room for my spaniel to join me. Firm head to toe and across with just enough give so it's not hard when I lie on it. Easy and quick to set. I'm impressed!
