Bought this crater about 4 years ago and it is not something we use very often but it doesn't last. Plastic breaks very easily right at the part where the handle slims down to meet the grater part. Sticking with the long skinny grater

Better Material %26 Design than a Few Years Ago

If you know what Microplane Graters are, and can be used for, well, this does all that, looks very nice and has a rubber type grip.

Great zester

Fits perfectly in my hand, easy to hold and creates a great zest

Ribbon plane is pretty useless. It just turns everything to mush. The only one of these I really use a lot is the coarse grater. Save money and just buy the one or two you need.

Excellent Kitchen Tool

This is a wonderful tool that we use to make lemon and orange zest from fruit and to grate parmesan cheese into nearly powder fine! So easy to use. We have had one for several years and have purchased others for gifts. The Microplane is sharp and dishwasher safe. There is no need to disassemble anything prior to cleaning, and it comes with a detachable safety shield when not in use. For $10.00 you will not find a better deal. Don't spend extra money when you do not need to ! Highly recommended.

Fine Artisan Microplane

I love this easy grip fine microplane! I needed this one to finely grate my Parmigiamo Reggiano White Gold for a special recipe. It is sturdy with a comfortable grip for arthritic hands...bright red so easy to find in the drawer! Great find!

Do not buy!

These are horrible quality. Flimsy, the stickers were impossible to get off, and the blades pop out easily. I cut my thumb trying to clean them.
