Weak screws broke

Used on pressure treated deck boards. After a couple months I noticed boards warping up on the deck. I removed the screws and found many where broken. Pure junk, will never buy this brand again.

Work very well. Star drive prevents slippage when driving, and you don’t damage the screw heads. After trying them, I won’t use anything else in the appropriate size for my jobs. Deliver of my order was extremely quick. The driver was helpful and put the load exactly where I wanted it. Home Depot is great to deal with for projects.

These are great fasteners for 5/4 deck boards. You won't have to worry about the heads stripping out in pressure treated deck lumber applications.

They have much better gripping power than DeckFroce by Grip Rite. They start easier and can chew thru wood.

Works well. Impact driver makes installation very easy. Secured the deck lumber well.

I thought the product was a great quality didn't have any problems with setting deck screws. My concern was how long it took to receiving product. It held me up getting project done before rain season. Not dependable delibery

We bought two boxes of the screws which worked just fine, however only one box contained the green T25 drill bit.

GRK are now my ‘go to’ fasteners after several really good experiences with them.

Excellent Product

Drove 500 of these securing cedar decking. Easy to drive with included star bit, no need to pre-drill even through some knots. Really good bite to them. Best I have used.

They worked great, pulled boards in in front and back of house

Works as Advertised

My deck was originally built with nails, and they started rising up. The deck boards were loose. Replaced over 200 nails with the #9 x 2-1/2 screws. The deck boards are fastened nice and tight to the joist. I tried other brands, but GRK actually delivered on what they advertised.

Be aware They are not 2 -1/2”

A favorite however be aware. iI you thinking they are a true 2 -1/2” inches long it is not true they are 2 -1/4”. So if you want 1-1/2 inch penetration thru 1” material it’s not gonna happen.

Too bad there were only 2 boces on shelf and younger employees didn't bother to look for more and just told me whatever is on the shelf is all they have. You also need to put price labels for the lumber yard...it would help the customers better.
