These are very classy knobs. There is an anchor on the back that will keep the knob from turning after you tighten it - as another comment mentioned. Be sure you hold the knob where you want it as you tighten, so the small pointed bump digs into the wood. If you move the knob around while tightening, you may make a groove with the bump and then it could move with use. My guess is this knob won't work on hard surfaces (light mirrored drawers or doors) because it can't dig in and the bump will cause the knob to sit crooked.

Very nicely crafted hardware., well finished and comfortable to grab. One impressive details is that there is a small pin forged on the mounting plate to ensure that the square shape remains correct on the horizontal,and vertical axis.
The knobs look great with our hickory cabinets in our large cabin . They topped off the new look of our bathroom !
They are very beautiful and perfectly match with the modern look of the kitchen. They have displayed two different sizes separately but with the same exact picture that made me believe I was reordering the same exact one but it was not.

These look great on the cabinets. the only "con" is that they are a bit smaller than I had expected. The 1 1/4 in is at the center of the pull no the edges. 1 1/2 in would have been the bomb!
