Love the new credenza. It looks perfect in the family room. It adds a lot of style to the room and an amazing amount of storage.

Sleek Design

I want to start off by saying these TV consoles are already made which was a HUGE shock to me because I already had my Allen wrenches lined up and some icy hot for my wrists afterwards lol. I was extremely impressed by the craftsmanship and would recommend this piece of furniture to anyone. If you’re on the fence of buying this product, just take the leap, you won’t regret it!

Beautiful piece

This was perfect for our living room, the color was rich and the look very classic and pretty. Nice storage and ample space on top. Love it so much!

Well built console table

My wife and I have been looking for a longer console table for some time now, and couldn’t find one long enough for our purposes ( we needed a table at least 84 inches). Ones we had found were extremely expensive and my “overly frugal” self refused to pay those prices. Enter the above table found at American Furniture, this table made the length requirement and fit my budget very well (I was actually shocked at how affordable it was). This table is also well made and very sturdy. If you are looking for a console table that won’t break your budget, this may be the one for you, it was for us, and we are very happy with this purchase. As always, American Furniture is the place to go for everything furniture related. We should have just started there and this search would have been over a long time ago.

Quality control

Delivered furniture that was damaged. Why deliver damaged goods only to have the service tech NOT be able to fix it. Not very happy after having to pay 180.00 to have audio tech reinstall my sound equipment. Now I have to pay again since the only way to get this done is to exchange it.

Beautiful Piece for my Living Room

Love this console! I've been wanting to purchase one so bad but have been waiting to find the right one. After many trips to the show room and lots of measurements, I finally pulled the trigger on this item. I couldn't be happier!

Meet our expectations

We really enjoy this piece. The looks is nice and modern, the pricing was very attractive, and it completes our room. It is not the most solid piece of furniture, but that is to be expected with the price. I do not think it’s solid wood.

Lived your store and products -Great prices

My purchase was your my first time in your store. I love the selection in the store I bought a couch daybed I bought a small cabinet that fits in my hallway and then I bought a large entertainment Buffet for a big TV. I loved all the items it looks great in my home and I especially love the prices. Even recommended friends to go there and had a lady to go in and made a purchase for her new apartment for living room furniture.

Average Workmanship and Materials

I like the overall look of this piece, but I’m glad I didn’t pay too much for it. The wood is dented on the top edge in the front in several places and then just stained over it. I like a rustic look, but that’s the wrong place to allow that to happen. Also, most of it is put together with small strips of wood instead of solid pieces. But if you don’t look too close, it looks like a nice piece of furniture.

Best furniture store ever

We have shopped at AFW for years and years, having lived in Denver for many years we knew it was the best store to go to for quality, selection and price, as AFW originated in Denver. Many of the pieces of furniture we have in our house are from AFW and are still items we bought many years ago. Anytime we need a piece of furniture or are looking to replace some, AFW is our "go to" store. Delivery is made easy and AFW even delivers all over the USA. Their concept is the best and we highly recommend them far above other furniture stores for quality, affordability and current market styles.

Entertainment Center/Bar

My wife and I had a "bar" with all our bottles on top. We wanted something to hold the bottles, glasses and store other items. We've made several purchases at AFW in the last few months and decided to buy this. It was delivered promptly, was reasonably priced, looks great in our dining room and serves the purpose we intended it for. What more can I say. Check out AFW before you buy any furniture. Huge selection, good prices and delivery.

Some imperfections

After waiting about 2 months for this console it finally arrived. It does not look like a cherry color which is what we ordered, its more of a dark walnut. There were several nicks and scratches on the front and one gouge on the side about 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch. Contacted store and offered to replace, which would take another 2 or 3 months or offered $150.00 off the cost. Opted for the 150.00 and bought one of those stain pens and some wood filler for the gouge.

Hamilton 82 inch console

We had to order the console and when it came in we weren't exactly pleased. In a few spots there was extra paint/stain that was darker than the console that really stuck out. It literally looked like someone took a darker color paint/stain and just painted a thin line in areas. There were a couple spots where you could see the bare wood. One spot almost looked like someone took a crowbar and tried to separate the wood where they nailed them together. Things just aren't made the way they used to be especially for the money you pay. The store did happen to order 2 of the exact same consoles, but when we looked at the other console that came in, the condition was even worse.

Exactly what I wanted!

I looked everywhere to find a console like this with cabinets on each side to store things without people seeing it. I love the color and it looks great in my room! My only complaint is there was one dime size spot on the front where the stain was completely worn off. The delivery guys did not seem to care. I bought stain to fix the spot but that did not work. I ended up having to color it with a marker. It’s not perfect but it’s not obvious now.

I would not buy this or recommend it in any situation.

This came assembled and in a box which was appreciated. As we took it out of the box, it was clear this was not a quality product. There were several scratches and dents and three of the doors wouldn't shut. My husband had to adjust hinges and hardware. As I was dusting it off, more of wood splintered off. This is made in Mexico and not made well. It is very cheap and not worth the money I paid. I gave it two stars instead of one as I do enjoy the size which was hard to find.

Underwhelming

We are on our third counsel, the fist 2 had major issues. The top was loose, glass inserts fell out, door panels loose, gaps around door uneven, door clips didn’t line up. Second unit had been repaired or a complete mess from the factory. The door had been flip and cut, leaving a raw edge on top of the door panel, screws holes where the clip was moved. Nicks and gouges all over. Now we have the 3rd unit and one of the doors mitered seem has a 1/4” gap on the inside for corner, door reveals are uneven and the door clips don’t line up. Over all not worth the money, we have purchased other items from American Furniture Warehouse and loved them. This item is a waste not worth trying to swap or repair, it’s clear we would end up with more problems.

Poor craftsmanship

The display in the store looked great but everytime we got our console, it had crooked doors. The doors would not shut properly and therefore were not flush with the rest of console. We even had the AFW handyman try to adjust but he said he just couldn't get it to look right. Mainly because the hinges are not made to adjust. Too bad, it could be a great looking console. We ended up returning after three attempts to get a good one.

Poorly built

This console was delivered to us with the front glass doors put on wrong. My husband had to take it apart and try to fix it. Because the doors were put on wrong, it scratched the wood in the shipping process. Doors wouldn't even close when it was delivered. The top of the console has a blemish in the wood, but it's too much of a hassle to send back. If we wanted to build our own furniture I would have bought from IKEA. Very frustrating.

Great piece of furniture

The pictures don't do this item justice. It's a beautiful piece & it ads elegance to my living room 👍🏾I love this piece of furniture. If fits beautifully into my home. Although one of the boards inside the shelve was chipped on one side, I decided to keep it as it does not appear to affect the sturdiness of the shelf. We have little kids and we were worried we would have to mount the tv but this console is the perfect height & puts the TV out of reach for the kids. It's sturdy, perfect height, looks expensive, & is good value for money. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the chipped board.
