Love this mixer!

Compared it with my friend's Kitchenaid and it did just as well at making chocolate chip cookies for $100 less!

Great product

I bought this for my son for Christmas as he is into cooking. This mixer will be great for him. I like the stainless steel and the attachments are good for someone starting out.

UPDATE. I dropped this to A one. I have used this 3 times then the guard BREAKS. Just picked it up and it broke in half. I'm going to comtact Hamilton Beach on this. Not happy. This is just like your expensive models out there! My son was in shock when I got this for him. He loves to bake and cook. And he has been wishing for this. Now I have to find the pasta roller cutting attachment. And we will be all set. Got the grinder and the chopper. And shredder. Love this!

Definitely Heavy Duty

My previous Hamilton Beach stand mixer lasted for 6 years. The tilt mechanism broke, so I wanted something that was going to hold up. This professional version, made of metal is definitely the one. It is also quite heavy and doesn't have a handle like my last one. I store mine in a pantry, so I notice this every time I use it. The speeds have no notation as to what speed is used for mixing, beating, creaming, whipping, but I can adjust for that. The handle on the bowl is indented metal and not comfortable for the hand. Oh well. The performance is stellar, however. I make egg white bread weekly and the stiff peaks appear within minutes. Overall I'm happy with the mixer and am glad I bought it.

Buyer Beware

I bought this online because it was on sale. I used it once and loved it. The next time I go to use it, it doesn’t work. Hamilton Beach makes you email and wait for a response. I am going to buy a Kitchen Aid.

Bought mine last year. I like the way it performs . I especially like how easy it is to attach the beaters and take them off. I bought the grater attachment and use it a lot. I have RA . My hands are very crippled and this machine is easy for me to use. One complaint would be with the speed dial. I have a hard time gripping it. It would have been better if the dial had had some texture to it. I emailed customer service because the flat beater had a small chip. They sent me a new one in about a week.

Oo my goodness we love this stand mixer, I used it to make the pizza dough, and it came out terrific. I was really impressed, awesome product and works great. Thank you God Bless.

My wife loved it, its for the home but has a very professional appearance. Homemade cookies more often now

Excellent product

Makin cookies left and right with this thing!

This mixer has been excellent for combining ingredients for cookies and cakes. Adding ingredients and clean up is very easy. I do have two difficulties. As it is too heavy for me to carry out of a cabinet, it needs to stay on my kitchen counter. I put it on a small cutting board so I can move it forward on the counter as the suction cups adhere so tightly to the counter it is difficult to move. Also, I wish the instructions had included a description of each of the 12 speeds.

Defective out of the box!

Plugged it in after opening and no power. Also, Hamilton Beach has no customer service # and no way to reach out for help. Don't buy this brand!

To begin with the quality of the bowl is poor. My plastic wrap sticks tight to any material. But not to the bowl of this stand mixer. If your bread dough is a little sticky and wet, getting it out of the bowl is difficult. And just by touching the bowl I could tell before even using it. The first time I used the machine it was to make bread dough. The top of the machine was going up and down. Also, as some other reviewers have pointed out the suction cups at the bottom that are to hold the machine in place REALLY sticks to the countertop and makes it hard to pick up the machine. So, I'm sliding it back and forth. What prompted me to choose this one is the planetary way the attachments work. But once I found there was unmixed flour at the bottom of the bowl when I wanted to remove the dough. I had purchased a bigger name brand before this but I returned it immediately after the first use because there was unmixed flour at the bottom of the bowl. At the end of the day, it gets the job done. Since I'm baking bread regularly, it will do.

Not a bad purchase

Last July, I bought the Hamilton Beach Professional stand mixer when it was on sale. Over the past nine months, the same stand mixer has serve me well. I have made angel food cake, mashed potatoes, whipped shortbread, Christmas cookies, and bread. The Hamilton Beach Professional handle each of these tasks without any issues.
