Have used this rug in the entry hall, in front of the living room couch and in the bedroom. It is easy to keep clean and very versatile. It has the look of a VERY expense rug.

Beautiful Rug, but check the dimensions.

I like the colors (good neutral mix of ivory/gray/brown) and style, but the rug is more like 7' 6" X 9' 10". It's the half foot narrower part that makes it particularly difficult to fit in the intended space...I would get a 9X12 at this point instead, but it doesn't seem to come in that size. I'm also not sure how long it will last as there are some long threads hanging out. It may be fine in low traffic areas. I have a 1/4" rug pad under it to help it feel a bit cushier and extend the life of the rug.

Form and Function

I have this in my kitchen for many years and with all the cooking and spills, it ages well and is easy to clean with just a sponge, even though it doesn't look like it would be.

Good value. I did notice right away what other reviewers mentioned, how there are areas on the rug missing hair (off the roll) which look like dirt from afar...so don't expect a perfect rug! I didn't mind it too much. Very unique!

Such a durable and gorgeous rug! I love it so much

This rug currently lives in my dining room, and if you are worried about stains - this rug wipes up like a dream. My little dog even had an accident on it and it didn't leave one mark. Durable!

Stylish east to maintain

Very stylish and modern rug. I love the way it looks in my home office. The colors are subtle, which is what I was looking for. It's in a low traffic area and after 2 years, it still looks great. The very low pile makes it easy to vacuum.

This is absolutely gorgeous. It's really a work of art, lots of texture in the color variation and grain. We are planning on using it as a wall hanging. I would be hesitant to use it as a rug anywhere with traffic.

Get ready for the compliments.

This rug is absolutely beautiful, and ideal for a formal living room. It looks exactly as pictured. The cowhide feels good underfoot and the blend of neutral colors can match with virtually any color scheme. No need to buy a rug pad because it has a wool-type backing that keeps it from sliding. Worth mentioning: Within a few days of laying it out, the edges started to slightly curl upward. (I wonder if having the heat on in the house causes that?). After rolling them towards the floor, they pretty much laid flat. Not sure if that will happen again. Also, spot cleaning, not vacuuming, is recommended.

This rug was well made but did not work for me. I was looking for something with a little more color. I tried it in several rooms and it did not give me the "pop" I was looking for.

very pretty runner, easy to clean..

DO NOT BUY!!!

DO NOT BUY THIS RUG! We had this rug only 5 months in a "no traffic" area. About a 8" stretch lost the suede and left bare backing. We appealed to Overstock for a resolution (no) and they told us to contact Safavieh (no). So don't spend ****s of dollars on this, plus an insurance plan for accidents. It looks really prett, but it is worthless!!!

Gorgeous Accent Rug, Beautiful Tones

STUNNING cowhide with a statement pattern. Purchased for our front door and it gets compliments from everyone. Easy to clean as well. Highly recommend!

Great Rug! Great Price!!

We love this rug. The hide is very soft and the color pattern is neutral. The color in picture is pretty true! The rug is a bit flat (no padding). Similar rugs are at least double the price at other stores.

Beautiful entry rug for our stone floors. Gets lots of compliments. Looks very stylish and modern and must be well-made because it has stood up to lots of traffic..

Very nice but definitely need rug tape. The rug is very delicate and needs to be owned by someone that wants it more for show than for durability.

Unique rug that always gets many compliments!!!! The only down side is the hide was vet wrinkled from being rolled so tightly. Hopefully it will smooth out. Other than that this rug is amazing! Updated- 4 months in a low traffic area all of the hair is falling out of this rug!

Upon unwrapping 2 layers of thick plastic and unrolling the rug, I was greeted by a HUGE stench of what I can only assume is formaldehyde. The smell was unbearable. I have been trying to aerate it as much as possible, but am not sure that it will do any good.
