Love these natural fiber rugs
This rug is a winner! I love the texture is gives to the room. I have it as a runner in my kitchen and it's wonderful. It does shed, as natural fiber will do, but not enough for me to care.
Perfect look
Absolutely love this rug. It helps finish the look I am going for in my room. It actually impressed my husband too. He loved how flat it looks around the edges. How even being a new rug it does not curl up.
Great rug. Pile height actually 0.5in
I love the look and quality of this rug! I ended up returning it but only because the pile height is incorrect on the website and my door wouldn't clear it. It's listed as .25 but is actually .5in.
Looks pretty but
I've purchased many rugs like this before and this one is no exception. They do shed/dust initially and they are not the best choice for high traffic areas with kids and pets. In non-high traffic areas I think it would hold up well. But again with traffic and vacuuming often it doesn't hold up great.
Great Rug
This is my 4th purchase on the Safavieh handmade natural rug. The rug is very durable and looks great in any room. I have one in the den, hallway and now living room. This rug looks high end for less the money. I highly recommend!

I was very pleased with the color of this rug. It does not have a yellow/orange tint like most jute rugs have. Instead, it was a creamy tan which is beautiful. It is very soft to the touch, as well.
Smooth and Durable
This jute rug is smooth and comfortable to walk on. The minor flaws of threads, bumps and color variation add to the shabby chic look. I am very happy with my purchase. I ordered the 6' X 6' square and only 2 of the sides are bound with trim, the other 2 sides are rolled and part of the weave. I like that it is reversible, which gives the rug more durabilty.
As expected and pictured
It's just a pictured (all of overstock's item are). It lays flat, and not too thick, that you'll trip over. I love it. The only con is that it is that it does seem to come unfrayed in areas. I have this rug in my front entry hallway. I would not suggest a high traffic area for this rug.
