Product is beautiful, but the "navy blue" is lighter than actually shown in the advertised picture.. . . The measurements are slightly off too. Advertised as 8' x 11' but actually 7' 7" x 11'. I kept the carpet because it worked in my room but I actually would have preferred a darker navy blue color that I thought I was ordering. If you can use a lighter more "grayish blue" in your room you will be highly satisfied with this purchase.

Absolutely beautiful!

We bought four Safavieh Oriental area rugs and they are stunning. The colors and designs are truly in keeping with much pricier traditional wool rugs but these affordable synthetic designs will be easier to clean and have the look and feel of natural fibers. We also purchased the Como and Castello area rugs and they, too, are rich and beautiful designs. Penney’s still has the best selection and prices for Oriental rugs. We couldn’t be happier!

The quality of the rug is dependant on the packaging if you want my true opinion. As with this rug and the smaller area rug which I order for the door area came with all 4 corners frayed. I do believe this was due to the packaging. They were bound too tightly perhaps and the cardboard on both ends led to the damage. In any event, I must not be the only customer to have encountered this problem. I do hope this issue can be resolved quickly as the rug is very pretty and goes well in the decor of my home.

I finally opened my order today with crossed fingers, as I am past the 30-day return policy. Reason for delay in opening was that my space was under construction until today. I was very pleasantly surprised . Color is great, quality is good, except for one end of carpet, which isn't bound, and the nap looks somewhat frayed. But all in all, am very happy with this product. Was not very happy with the shipper, however. They didn't ring doorbell upon arrival, just rapped on window once! I was notified of delivery via app on my phone, which showed the delivery person and what he did. He dropped 87 lbs of carpet on my front porch and left after knocking on the window once! I would at least have asked them to drop it in my garage had I known they were delivering. My husband had to struggle to move package to the garage to store it until we could put it into our living space, which was under construction at the time. Finally paid someone to move it into the house today. The carpet itself is lovely, and I am pleased with it. Thank you.
