The fiber started to shed as soon as the package was opened. The quality of the rug was inferior. It certainly didn't look like how it did in the picture.

Kitchen rug

The gold was not as bright as it looks in the manufacturer's picture, but it matches the room pretty well. I was hoping to match the gold in the wood floor but at least the walls look nice against it.

Do not hesitate!!

LOVE this rug. Bought the green/gold runner at least three years ago and it has performed beautifully in a very high traffic area - out our back hallway into the garage. Plush, soft, shows no wear or staining, easy to vacuum, never really shed. Colors are lovely, slightly muted, just right. Total yes on this one. Such a quality company.

Beautiful rug

Rug is very beautiful and good quality. I ordered the brown which is really more gray, but it works.. rug says brown on the label. Very reasonable price. I have ordered several Safavieh rugs in the past and really like them. Its a nice thick wool.

A great rug, my husband is still commenting on how nice it feels under his feet when he gets out of bed. Still shading a bit thus the 4 stars. I found the description/colors to be accurate.

Beautiful Rug

We just love this rug. It layed flat immediately, looks and feels luxurious. We put ours in the kitchen and it doesn't show any cat hair or anything!

Great Value

Love this runner rug; colors are perfect for the setting and are beautifully muted. Price was definitely an option when I was choosing and this rug delivers.

I can't say enough good about this rug. The colors are exactly as I expected. It's very plush and just perfect under my dining table. I've had it a year now. It's holding up perfectly.

Nice wool rug

Beautiful muted colors. Web description was very accurate. The wool rug is very thick and although I've only had it down for about a month, I think it will wear very well.

I really like my rug. I found out after I had it down, that on a wool rug it's almost impossible to move furniture over it. It takes a little effort to move your bed or a stand over it. I wish I knew that problem before hand. Otherwise, it is an attractive rug and has a nice feel to it.

Beautiful, high-quality rug. highly recommended

This rug is nice and thick with vibrant colors. It is a bit darker than I thought it would be. The background of the middle area is more of a light tan ground of the outside is brown and almost at touch purplish. It will go with many different colors games in your house.

Disappointed

I had Safavieh rugs for many years and never experienced rugs that shed each day as the ones I purchased from overstock recently. I know that some wool rugs shed but I purchased them in Nov and Dec. By now, they should be okay but this one is not.

This is my sixth Safavieh rug from Overstock. I love the quality. The wool rugs do tend to shed a little but I still am very happy with every one of them. I would recommend to anyone who needs a good, affordable rug. Upon opening the plastic bag it is shipped in there is, usually, an odor but it goes away within 3-4 days. Just give it time.

The overall construction of the rug is beautiful and I wish that it had worked in our home. Unfortunately, the colors shown in the image were misleading and the blue was much more green than blue (a friend referred to it as seafoam). As I was specifically looking for a rug with strong blue tones, I am now going through the tedious and costly process of returning (the rug is over 100 lbs and the return shipping costs are almost $***). That said, it is beautifully constructed and I am a fan of the Safavieh rugs, I have placed an order for a different rug. Fingers Crossed!

The best rug

I am thrilled with my purchase. I love the price point. I love that it is wool, thick, and the colors are so vibrant. There is a lot more green than I expected, but I love it even more than what I saw online. I wish I bought this rug years ago when I first saw it. It also came in less than a week!

Lovely rug

This rug is lovely and fairly thick. The colors are slightly more muted than in the photos--I believe the pictures look a bit "green". I ordered a small one for under a chair and would definitely purchase again.
