Love this rug. The colors are warm and inviting. It works very well with my navy blue couches.
Less shedding vs tufted
This is the second rug I have bought in this line. This is not a “fine” rug; the fibers are rather thick. I am happy with the colors and appreciate that these hand-knotted wool rugs do not shed as much as hand-tufted wool rugs.

Exquisite Safavieh Samarkand Wool Carpet
The 10x12 Safavieh Hand-Knotted Samarkand Annelieke is one of the most beautiful and well made carpets I have ever seen and incorporates every color of the furniture in my living room. It goes wonderfully with the Copper Grove Baclieu Tufted Ivory Leather Sofa and light teal wall behind it. There were a few loose strands which I sewed through the back of the carpet so that they wouldn't be pulled loose when vacuuming. This particular wool carpet does not shed much at all. It's everything I could have asked for and worth twice the number of pennies I paid for it.

Beautiful colors and appears well made. The size was accurate, something not always found in rugs these days. Unfortunately, the colors did not work for my room and I had to return.

Beautiful rug, vibrant colors as pictured. We were looking for a while to replace a high end Chinese rug that was 35 years old. This was the perfect rug to update our space.

Great/high quality rug. Colors are accurate in the picture. Feels soft under feet even without a pad. Overall, very happy with the purchase.
The weave is very loose so it looks cheap. The colors are not true to the photos. I had a hard time returning it but finally found someone in customer service who was willing to work with me. She was a blessing.
