Great buy, if you can live with a few drawbacks

All the review photos already show very clearly the true hues of this rug; needless to say the overall color is darker than the bird's eye view listing photos, but if you dive into the closeup photos, it is pretty obvious. the murky color makes it a great rug for high-traffic areas imho - it has a nice thick pile (wool) and the trellis pattern adds just enough interest. What about the drawbacks: first of all, it comes with a musty smell; I've now ordered 3 of these rugs in different colors and they all have a smell that will take some time to dissipate; second, the 10X14 size comes packaged folded, not rolled; you'll have to keep it rolled for a few days to minimize the crease - it's not the easiest thing to do, rolling a 10X14 rug tightly; third issue - some quality control problems - I've noticed some kind of plastic bits through the weave here and there; if you need a large rug and budget is limited, I'd say one can live with it. Less

Comfy rug

I was looking for a wool rug in a neutral color with a trellis pattern for our family room and purchased this rug. However, I ended up returning this rug and getting something more colorful.

Great color and look but not practical for use under...

Great color and look but not practical for use under our kitchen table. Between our two dogs and active children the rug shedding was problematic. Vacuuming is not recommended for this item and we saw why. It pulled up more from the rug.

Beautiful, neutral wool rug

I purchased two of these rugs for an open living space, one to go under the "living room" seating and one to go under the dining table. When observed close up, there are a few odd colors in the rug (gold, blue) but the overall look is neutral -- I absolutely love it. The price was so good that I won't feel terrible replacing in a couple years, if necessary (they will be in a vacation rental). I'm including a couple photos, one with a leather and navy fabric sample for some contrast.

Watch out for color choice

Very good quality. Thick,medium height. Colors on listing are messed up though so be careful with what color you order.

Beautiful wool rug!

The colors were difficult to determine from the photo, but it works perfectly in my room. Very nice wool rug, I would definitely recommend.

Soft and well made. I was unsure that the color would be like the image because the name is Blue/Gold. The color was very accurate and I love it. I back-rolled the ends and it now lays nice and flat.
