Stinky Purchase

This purchase would have gotten five stars, but I cannot get past my disappointment with the odor. I bought this rug a few weeks ago. It came wrapped tight but once I opened it, the smell was stinky. I tried cleaning it and letting it air dry because it is so beautiful. To no avail, it still has a toilet smelling odor. We cannot use it or return it at this point. So the lesson learned is not to purchase a rug online because you do not know where it is being stored.

We bought this rug as a runner for our entryway. It's a very pretty, thick wool rug but it does put off a lot of fibers, even after 2 years of ownership and constant walking/vacuuming.

Although the carpet is nice quality and the perfect size I was disappointed with the colour because is more bluish than charcoal and the design bigger than expected

Not Gray at All.

Its a low pile wool rug. Nothing special. Just a good price, but the color DOES NOT come close to gray. If anything, its blue. I wouldn't mind if the pic looked gray, but the description was more specifically blue. Returning for that reason: wrong color description.

Light grey/Ivory

Great quality! The color (light grey/ivory) is much lighter than the picture and the grey looks more like light blue. I like it anyway and will keep.

Really just a beautiful rug. Intended to put it in our dining room but we underestimated the size of our table. Moved it to our home office and it looks just as good there. It will really pop on hardwood floors.

Don't get me wrong. It's a beautiful print and very soft, but it sheds like crazy. So much so, that my little baby would pull the loose shreds out. I gave it away since it's not safe for toddler.

I love this rug. It's bright and cool to look at, and soft and squishy and warm to walk on. The colors range from true sky blues to slightly aqua tones, plus rich creamy whites. I am very happy.

The colors of this rug are just as shown on the site. It's a nice heavy weave and the size was perfect for my room. It does shed some initially, but that lessens over time. I highly recommend!

Arrived well protected and rolled. Flattened out readily. Good quality rug. And beautiful - just the wrong color for me. I returned it. Turns out it has a lot of lighter, brighter, robin's egg blue in it. I'm giving it a 4 because of the color misrepresentation online - otherwise it would have been a 5.

Cool-looking rug, but not very sturdy, and looks smaller once on the floor, because there's no border. Might be great for someone else, but just not for me. Ivory/white is much more of an eggshell color than the pictures.

Love the colors and thickness but it does shed a lot. I do expect some shedding and hopefully it will decrease over time. Nice quality. Perfect size for my back door! Overall, I would recommend this rug. In fact, I ended up buying a second one.

Solid rug

This is a nice, heavy, and thick rug. We Love the design. We're not even sure we needed the non-slip pad underneath but we got one anyway, also by safavieh.

Very plush & thick!

Was looking for a square rug to fit a small space & this is perfect. The rug is almost 1" thick pile and very soft & luxurious. Looks and feels very expensive! It's a very light grey and soft white with a subtle pattern. Happy with purchase!

Gorgeous rug!

I gave this rug as a housewarming gift to my daughter and son-in-law. It looks beautiful in their dining room with vintage distressed black table and chairs and grey-blue walls. Very nice quality rug.
