Gray is really blue!

Great quality, nice and thick, HOWEVER the gray is really a powdery blue. This is the second time I’ve ordered a Safavieh rug that was supposedly gray but turned out to be blue. They both went back. I was sad because otherwise it was a great rug. The gray that’s shown in the picture is not all what I received.

This rug is made well and the pattern is really nice, but the color description is not right. The rug is green, not gold. I returned the rug, but it cost nearly $100 in return shipping. I think this description should be changed to reflect the actual color of this rug to avoid others having to go through the hassle and expense of returning it.

Poor quality

Bought this in January. Colour and pattern lovely. Carpet is pilling, filling up my condo w/ blue fluff. I can't spot clean because the carpet fibres turn to a different texture and look horrible. I called the manufacturer, they didn't offer anything helpful. I know that wool carpets can shed (I have had and do have other wool carpets. The number of fibres coming off of this carpet is not normal; bad, bad quality.

Gold/Yellow color is really LIGHT GREEN!

Bought the light gold/ivory color as it showed on my monitor to be a pretty yellow. When it arrived it was actually a very light green. Also a pretty color..... just not the yellow /gold I needed. Ordered another style in the light gold/ivory color scheme. Got that same light green color. Be aware that some colors may be "off".

Gold & Ivory is too green

Great quality rug but ..... I bought 2 rugs by Safavieh saying that they were light gold and ivory. I was looking for something with a definite yellow hue. Not so. I realize that it's difficult show exact color due to the way different monitors show color. However, these "light gold" rugs have a definite light green tinge to them. Would have loved to keep them as the quality is great. Getting the correct color was the problem.

Excellent quality, bargain price!

I am SO happy with this rug! I searched for the right rug for weeks, and all the ones I liked were really expensive. Then I found this one for half the price of the next best thing! This rug is thick and soft, and the color in person is true to the color on my screen (light blue, rich but with a touch of gray, and an ivory-off-white). The only real difference I've seen between the real thing and the photos is that there's a change in texture between the white and blue colors. The pile is slightly shorter on either side of the while lines, giving the white design a rounded shape. In other words, there's a slight dip or indentation in the texture between the white and the blue. I like it, but I didn't expect it. This rug does shed like any new wool rug would, but it's nothing a little vacuuming can't handle. Over all, great quality, beautiful design, and unbeatable price!
