very good quality

I like wool rugs and this one is exactly what i expected. It is very thick and dense with beautiful light green color and nice wine pattern. It sheds at the beginning, and it requires frequent vacuuming. Once it is past that point, it feels nice.

Nice and thick. Some shedding, which I assume will decrease over the next few months. It is more of a green grey than it appears on my computer screen (looks more like a warm grey on my computer). Grays can be tricky to purchase online. It seems like it will be durable and I like that wool is easy to clean.

I am a Persian rug fan, with 2 wool and 2 polypropylene ones in other rooms in the house. But I decided to go more contemporary in my master bedroom. The pattern on this rug is very subtle. The beige swirls almost disappear into the cream background, especially depending on the direction the fibers are vacuumed. I was happy to get an 8x10 rug for under $150, but it is definitely lower quality than my Persian Safavieh polypropylene rug. It’s like a very thin piece of wall to wall carpeting that’s bound. But I wasn’t ordering a wool-silk Persian rug for thousands of dollars, so I am not surprised or disappointed. Just know that it is a budget quality rug. It is very thin, so you may want to use a rug pad to give the illusion of more plushness. If you have one already, I’d say. If you would need to buy a rug pad too, you might just step up to nicer quality rug. But the color coordinates well with my drapes and the pattern works in the room, so I’m keeping it. I may upgrade at some point in the future. Or not. Overall, as long as you have proper expectations based on the price point, I think it’s a pleasing rug.

I have bought this and then bought another!

I absolutely love this rug. I bought it 5 years ago in a square, and it has held up very nicely. Although I don't think "pale blue" is a good description of the color. To me, it looks more like a light teal: a blue with a hint of green. I think one reviewer described it as seafoam, which sounds more accurate.

Safavieh Soho Poiper Wool Rug, Rust

Good quality rug. Dense pile. I'd recommend it without hesitation. But the color of this rug is neither as orange or vibrant as depicted in the photo. If contemplating buying this rug, I suggest comparing all photos of this make and color rug (photos of different sizes have different color nuances) and realize that the least vibrantly orange depiction is the most accurate. I returned this rug based solely on the fact the color in the photo was not accurate.

Very Neutral Color

I was hoping for a totally different green. This is more minty, light and neutral than expected. I wanted something with more of an impact and this was almost tantamount to choosing a tan rug. I hated it in my space, but because of color not quality. It didn't get any wear with me so I don't know how it lasts, but it seemed nice when I opened the package.
