Gorgeous rug! It does shed a lot. I vacuumed the rug after letting it straighten out and it filled up the vacuum. After going over it a few times it started shedding less. Since vacuuming there has not been any shedding while walking on it. The colors are beautiful and vibrant!

The 8 x 10 rug sheds terribly, small pieces of fabric come out of the rug. The construction and color distribution do not look like the photos. Very poor quality. Will not order a rug from Wayfair again. They only offered a replacement and we would have to ship back the original (quite heavy) rug or a 10% refund. Very disappointed. We also bought the 4' round and it is the quality we expected. It looks very much like these two rugs were made in different places.

Beautiful rug but it sheds so much that it outdoes my two labradors 2-1. I bought this for our new condo and we love the colors but we do not have a vacuum here. I swept it with a broom and could not believe how much “shed” came off. I hope that constant vacuuming will de-shed the rug. Some reviewers did mention that it shed and most do at first but had no idea it shed this much. It’s unfortunate because the colors and pattern are so pretty.

rug sheds nonstop

The cotton rags are cut, and continue to shed constantly. The vacuum cleaner bag fills up every time that I vacuum. This is a failed design, which is quite disappointing. I love the colors, but the constant shedding makes it impossible to keep.

I bought this rug for my bedroom. I have several shades of blue going on and it’s perfect! The colors in the rug are vibrant and make the room come alive! I love SAFAVIEH!

The rug is very bright and beautiful! It does not have a rubber backing but I placed non-slip for rugs under it. Love it!

Great Quality. Color way Off

I’m giving this a “good” rating because the rug is very high quality, and I’ve purchased this brand before and they are durable. However, the colors are very far off from the images on the website. The colors appear very muted on the images and the actual rug’s colors are very saturated, especially the oranges and reds. That I wasn’t expecting.

The rug is gorgeous and is thicker than I anticipated, which is great. The colors are so vibrant and really perks up our living room. Delivery was so fast. Highly recommend this rug and Rugs.com.

Pretty but messy!

Beautiful rug, but it sheds really bad!!!! The rug is fairly thick, but I did purchase a rug pad for added comfort. I would love to give the rug 5 stars, but the shedding is bad enough to give it 3. I even went over it with a carpet cleaner and vacuum.I don't think I would purchase again.

This is the second SAFAVIEH rug I’ve ordered. I love how thick they are and love the styles.

Absolutely love this rug (8 x 10). Some reviewers state that it's brighter than the on-line photos. We did not find this to be the case - ours is exactly as shown in the website photos. Superior quality - thick and luxurious. We pulled out all the conservative stops for our Miami Beach design scheme and this rug rings the bell - it's got every color on the wheel, so endless design options around it. Highly recommend.

Great colors

I purchased this rug because of the blue base color. Once it arrived I was even more thrilled with all the accent colors in the design. They look gorgeous. It is an impressive looking rug. It feels heavy and substantial. It covers the floor well in that it doesn't slip around like a cotton throw rug.

SHEDS like crazy even after 7 months

Very messy rug. Large piles has to be swept from the rug weekly for the vibrant colors to show. Regretting my purchase.would love a refund. Not good for a person with asthma or pets.

Was not a soft rug

Looking at the pic online, for some reason I expected the rug to be soft. It was not. It had a rough wool feel. The colors were nice. I ended up returning it because I was looking for something cozy for my toes.
