Do Not Buy This Carpet

We had wool rugs for years in our home. The one we bought in 2010 was old and i wanted to replace. The wool rags we got fro Bed Bathe and Beyond had a chemical smell for weeks, we had to keep them outside for days to ventilate because of the strong smell. But this is not all! When i tried to wash the carpets because i noted some stains the wool started coming iff, unglued, and now the carpet looks ugly it's damaged. I used soap and water to spot wash the rug, it should have zero impact on the carpet. The wool comes off the base in flakes. I purchase the rag beginning of October2024, the only option i have is to through it in garbage as i don't think this product can be sold to customers. I want to return it and get money back. Can I? Please don't buy it or you'll have to experience same disappointment. My floors are cold without rugs but I can't put these low quality carpets that stink on my floors.

It's a beautiful rug. I ordered the light grey and ivory. The grey is really a grey-green, and darker than in the photos, but still very pretty and worked perfectly for what I had in mind. I would describe the accent colors as as a deep rose pink and burgundy. Well made, no visible shedding, and overall a good value.

Looks like the picture. It is vibrant in person. Some parts are a bit itchy but for the most part it is soft. I got the pink version.

Just received the rug earlier today. Very pretty, but smells strongly of mold and mildew. I left the house for a couple of hours and when we came back home, the smell on the main floor is horrible. I had to move the rug to the garage. Now I am having trouble returning it.

Nice rug

Very nice rug, there is some shedding but nothing that you can't deal with. I bought this rug over 2 years ago for my tween daughter and it is still there. It vacuums nicely as well.

Bad smell

This rug has a horrendous chemical toxic smell. I had to pay $40 to return it. That is how bad it was, keeping it was not an option. I was going to put it in my closet, but just could not handle that smell.

The rugs are thick and soft. The color is true to the picture. I’m thrilled with my purchase!

Beautiful but defective.

The colors in this adorable rug are exactly as pictured on the website. I'm very happy with the unique style and character as my space looks like a colorful, bohemian doll house and this is definitely the eye candy my bedroom deserves. It definitely has that 'new rug smell' even though I've left the ceiling fan on to help ventilate, so I'm hoping that it dissipates soon as it's been in place for a couple days. So, a month later, this is a disappointing follow up. The new rug smell is gone but the rug sheds tiny fibers that float into other spaces in my apartment. When I vacuum, the canister becomes filled with them. They stick to my socks and pants. I wonder if I am also inhaling them. How long before the rug looks bald from shedding so much?

Gorgeous rug

I've had my eye on this rug for a long time and finally bought it in the red color. I am pairing it with Waverly Forever Peony comforter set. I need to paint a room pale pink for this pairing. It will look spectacular when I am finished. The rug itself is so pretty! So excited!!!! I am never disappointed with Safavieh rugs

Bright, pretty rug best suited for a child’s room

Pretty and kind of whimsical. Very bright colors. I ordered this for a guest room but I think it would look better in a child’s room to be honest.
